I went about 8 months without sex and it was the best decision I ever made. It sounds like weird puritan nonsense in this libfem sex positive world but not having sex has allowed me to feel in control of my own body.

I broke my streak right before finding fds because I didnt want some asshole to think I didn't like him. And what did he do? Started acting different so I immediately felt like an object again. No thank you. I'm not going to be in any mans roster, I don't exist to please men.

I love that the word “access” is used here, because it’s so on point. When property is high in demand (and a female body is high in demand- who is majority on dating apps and what is at the top of their list?) and using it is not a given, that is not “getting with” the property, that is access to the property.

And if you wouldn’t grant just anyone access to your material, replaceable property, why the hell would you to your irreplaceable body?
