We've been conditioned to accept scraps from men like these, while they neg our confidence and intuition about the entire situation. What do you think happens to the confidence of a woman who has been through a situation like that? I get how FDS might not be everyone's vibe. That's fine. But criticizing us for being too big when we hype ourselves and eachother up is just sad.

Let women live. Let us celebrate our goddamn victories. If learning to live and love better isn't a big deal to you, just move along. If a woman breaking a cycle of heartbreak and disappointment in her own life is not worthy of praise, don't feel obligated to give any. If you don't have any interest in encouraging women to break the chains of codependency so that they can feel whole outside of romantic relationships, we'll be ok without you.

For some of us basic confidence is something we struggle to have 🤷. Saying we shouldn't be proud of it...for some of us it's very difficult, especially to gain that confidence on our own and not entirely from validation from other people.
