There are plenty of people who don’t just apply this to acting or porn work. They believe women in everyday life who express being unhappy or in pain are just acting. You can’t believe them.

The phrase that instantly sets my teeth on edge is “turning on the waterworks.” Because any negative emotion you get from a woman is fake and intended to manipulate. Women are just manipulators.

I don’t think anyone would be so naive to believe that porn is not abusive and that it’s empowering to women. It suits their purpose so they don’t want to hear / know otherwise.

Setting aside the abuse, trafficking, pedophilia and prostitution aspect of it, how someone can justify that porn would be compatible with relationships is beyond me.

Revealing the ugly a little bit more every day.

For a long while i was pro porn, not for the reason that i was engaging with porn, or knew anyone in porn. But because when i imagined myself being a prostitute i had a vaugh feeling itll be like doing something good for others, and i was also extremely accustomed to shut down my critical mind during sex, so life as usual (bad sex as usual). Ofcourse i never had any interest to engage in prostitution or porn because it is so unsafe. Reading content here and also meeting anti porn women irl has opened my eyes to really deeply think with myself why it was so easy for me to support porn. So a very selfish reason that till recently i was able to ignore was that i had the idea that if prostitution is determined to be immoral it might lable me as undesirable for the kind of liberal sexual activity i engaged with in the past. Because theres such a strong connection made between prostitution and sexual expression, liberation and autonomy, a negation of prostitution in my mind was equivalent to a return to times of slut shaming (not that they were ever really gone). Being a constant reader here on fds has showed me several time that it really doesnt matter who you are. Most men will always see you as their free slut.

Another reason that stems from the previous is, being labeled as easy sex when theres no actual prostitutes practicing would (in my mind) highten my chances of being raped. Its a selfish reason to be pro prostitution but i think many women think about it when they consider their stance on porn and prostitutes. If theres a group of ppl who """"chooses"""" to work in a profession with such high risks of rape and abuse itll surely lower my chances of being raped as a civilian woman, right?

I doubt it.........
