Why does this sub give better dating advice then dating advice subs?

Well on this sub everyone gives the harsh true. While the other subs give PC sugar coated advice. If you do that here , you get called out for your bullshit.

For some reason there are a lot of married people here (or in committed LTRs). I don’t understand why this topic attracts married people because this sub endlessly dissects the current dating marketplace.

Nevertheless, maybe people who have had success dating have a better sense of dating success?

Because everyone here is at the very least aware of TRP and what it teaches, and under a reasonable critical eye (male or female), a lot of those teachings are very practical and relevant to dating success.

Most of the bluepillers on this sub would probably still agree that men seeking to improve their dating lives could benefit lots from lifting weights and improving their physique, which is a main teaching of TRP. Their views on TRP seem to be more along the lines of things like "TRP is right about lifting weights but also TRPers abuse women and therefore I disagree with TRP". Whether or not the "TRPers abuse women" thing is a strawman, BPers here at least are typically aware that TRP teaches men to lift weights and not be needy, and usually agree with advice like that.

Meanwhile in the mainstream, when a guy wants to improve his dating life, the advice is usually "just be yourself and the right person will come along".

Probably because the people here are real people who have been through it and look to share and talk to each other.

You'll have jaded individuals like me who will always give advice that errs on the side of caution should I actually choose to give it.

And then you'll have people who genuinely don't understand the whole TRP fuss that are here because they got lucky and managed to make it work.

No one here is here because they are looking or failing, they are here to find, share, and discuss ideas and this kind of atmosphere generates good advice and keeps away from the extremes.

That's said being here you'll also notice that there's a lot of BS in tbe dating scene from both sides.

I think it’s because the things that actually work come off as misogynistic and the other subs will pounce on you. There’s what our culture tells us women want and what women are actually hard wired to want. There’s some overlap, but it’s taboo to acknowledge what women (and men to a certain extent) are really attracted to. Each sex runs on the same Operating System. We’re really not that unique. Yeah, there are outliers, but that’s just a small number of people and you probably wouldn’t want most of them anyways. A lot of people (men and women) are unaware of what REALLY attracts them to other people.

In comparison to other subs you are right its much better. Other subs tries to give you advices benefitting only women or women first. An advice only benefitting men will get deleted/heavily downvoted because women are the majority of the relationship subs users.

Depends on who's giving the advice.

Reasonable blackpillers give the best advice. Followed by reasonable red pillers Blue pill advice is the least useful and borderline detrimental.

I say blackpill is the most useful because it probably has the most data backing it. It's also the most simple advice. Nothing will improve your dating life more than becoming more physically attractive. This is known and undeniable. One you've achieved a physical peak, then use RP to achieve marginal gains.

Becasue it takes a specially grounded minset to be able to see both sides of the table here and that is what being Purple Pilled is all about, it means we see both perspectives. We are not polarized, biased, or partial to just one side. Reality requires you to have both eyes open in order to perceive it. You can't expect to see the big picture while you're winking at it.

I think its becouse you see the whole hand of possible cards. Both the middle ground and the extremes and you are free to decide what is inside your comfort zone.

Also this sub gives you a good look onto a male, female and inbetween (trans) point of view. So you can build a general expectation like: So if I (a guy) act like this, my date (be it any other gender or an other guy) possibly reacts like that.

I am personally a PP guy and don't really generalise some arguments I find outragously stupid, some I find good advice in dating be it feom either side. This sub shares experiences from a spectrum of worldviews.

85% of this sub admit that women don’t even see them. 10% red pill men who subscribe to pseudoscience. 4.5% FDS which I’ll admit is not bad but incompatible with my type and .5% everybody else.

This a terrible place to get dating advice 💀

Edit: I’ll admit the 15% together is not bad to interact and chat with, I’ll give the sub that. But everybody else? It’s like a daycare center

DoT tends to skew more women. As such, any comment that gives realistic advice is downvoted to oblivion or given the banhammer.

I got banned for basically saying that a woman who wants to get married and have multiple children should try to lock down her guy by 32 in order to minimize high risk pregnancy territory. I understand that that is a hurtful thing to read, but covering your eyes and ears against data/reality is not going to help in any way.

The people on dating subs are children, or well teenagers. Who don't have any experience themselves. Like the top comment said, the harsh truth matters. People these days don't like hearing the truth, and society has become shittier by attacking anyone who offers the truth, because apparently, "it's not positive." Positive movement is part of the problem.

You want actual advice; then listen to somebody who tells you straight.
