No no no, unless you live in a small village in the middle of nowhere, thousands of US dollars per month will NOT be enough to live comfortably for the rest of your life..

Point being eventually these women will have to get another job, which will be hindered significantly by their choices earlier in life, unless they plan to stay in the OF/porn industry forever.

Another prime example of this is military veterans (not comparing the two jobs even in the slightest) but they do have ONE thing in common.. they’re job searches afterward are possibly very limited.

My cousin, Army Ranger, served for over 12 years, seen plenty of action, and couldn’t even so much as land a bouncing job at a local bar.. tried for state troopers, local PD, applied to over 100 jobs and most likely the reason he was unable to land one is because his reputation has been smeared thanks to the military.. most employers believe he is PTSD ridden and insane.. he has three kids, a loving wife and is one of the best men i know.

Local PD believed he was incapable of joining the force because they couldnt “trust him” with a firearm.. well then who the fuck CAN they trust?

Just turned 34, and his only option was to re enlist, and he went straight back to Afghanistan because that is his ONLY option at this point

I think what people mean is that at some point women straight up used sex to survive, like probably all of them if they weren't just treated as objects at an early enough point in history. So in that sense, regardless of whether whompum or green backs or raw resources like food and shelter were being exchanged, sex has always been nature's weapon that women have to wield against us men. They can use it to create, use it to maintain and ensure security, and they can use it to destroy men if they choose.

Prostitution is a behavior not a profession. The fact people typically exchange money now blurs that but the fact is the woman is exchanging resources for something the man also wants but can't just take for himself without raping. Women with careers or normal jobs do this to a lesser extent these days, you see less women marry for money, but there are still plenty who do marry for money and a lifestyle and an ability to provide for a family is just a minor perk which is roughly the same thing as prostitution. I'm sure that kind of thing has happened for a long time as well going back to the caveman with the most loyal men under his command and the most resources for his group in the area.

Yeahhhhh, no it isn't. Like other people have said, there were always women who for lack of options or because they preferred the life, were prostitutes or other lower grades of sex worker. It's always been a thing, it was just never acceptable in the mainstream. There's empowerment, like giving them the ability to choose to go to school or work their way up in a job or be stay at home moms, giving them the vote, not silencing their opinions and listening to them, not treating them like punching bags, women respecting each other, supporting each other in their endeavors, etc, not always deferring to a man's version of events, whatever. And then there's the modern form of empowerment that's come about since they have all the same rights (if not more in some ways) and have very good legal protections for alot of things, and have almost nothing on an individual basis that they can advocate for other than purely political things like having women in office and such. Now the move is to normalize the women who refuse to do anything but sex work and glorify them. Cardi B literally has the lines "fuck em then I get some money? Fuck him then I get some money?" in one of her videos with G Eazy where she's making a fake concerned face as she says it. The girls on tiktok, onlyfans, sugarbaby dating sites (which is basically just being a hooker), etc....there are suburban white girls whose fathers are paying for everything in college, got them a nice luxury car at 18, buy them expensive purses and shit, who ALSO now fuck grown men for money on top of what their real fathers do for them or their boyfriends do for them or whoever else they mooch off of, and that shit is becoming normalized and it needs to stop. Women's empowerment fizzled out in the 90s. Entitlement is the their game now.

Tinder is almost a complete waste of time the last two years because 95% of the girls I match with are either promoting a premium snapchat or an onlyfans or offering escort services for 500 an hour. I legitimately consider going to church sometimes to meet girls because fucking hopefully they aren't all trying to monetize their vaginas.

Sexualizing someone who is paid to be and is willing to be sexualized, isn't actually sexist though. That is something a lot of feminists fail to understand at even a basic level. These women take these jobs happily and know full well what it entails, and are okay with it. None of them are complaining about being sexualized themselves, and they actually got upset when other people started complaining on their behalf, trying to put them out of a job. It's just another form of modeling to them. They get exposure and money.

I go to lots of customers on a daily basis delivering different chemical cylinders(can be doctors offices of all varieties, to just normal industrial companies that need some specific kind of gas).

I initially did it just in case there was ever some kind of incident/accident at a site to be able to cover my ass if there's an issue. Then I realized that it's better to just make it run at every customer unless I already know them in case anything out of the ordinary happens. It's covered me 2 times already with shitty people trying to say that I did something that I had proof I didn't do. Nothing special, but on the very rare occasion, it has been nice to have proof that the person was lying about whatever small detail they were complaining about is BS.

But I have done this before in normal personal life situations too. Just to paranoid. Hell, I once went to a party that my girlfriend was at just to try and be more sociable, and it was all women aside from one other guy there with his girlfriend. Fast forward 15 minutes of me arriving, and 4 women are trying to get me to feel another friends of theirs boobs cause they're fake and she wanted to show me how they feel. Even had my girlfriend saying go for it(not a trick).

I just said nope, was polite, and said no way in hell I'm going for that even though I wanted to. I known I gotta loosen up, but you always read about fucked up stories like OP's.

Try to find a perfect situation. I actually met my girlfriend in a library, many years ago. She was looking at some books in Astrophysics section, i was too, i hinted to her that this one is pretty good, we started talking about astronomy, went for a tea...

Aproaching with first thing being a compliment kinda puts you like wanting just to date. Try to approach it more passively at first, and mention some hobby. Many people are sometimes wearing diffrent kinds of pins on their bags or clothes, like from anime, some tv series, Cartoons. Or even a phone case from something specific. If you recognize it, you should definitely start with these, trust me, mentioning a shared hobby is way better way of Aproaching someone, than saying "Hey, you have nice eyes!", because they probably hear it a lot, and you would want to be more original about it.

Also look for signals if she is interested in keeping the conversation going, if she looks uninterested, annoyed, or scared, you should give it up. Dont instantly try to invite her for a coffe or for a constant, try to talk with her about something interesting, even better if you 2 do share the interest in it. It is usually best to invite for a tes someday and ask for a number before you two need to go their own way, instead of instantly. You might look like a creep. You cant speed things up if you try to date someone, people have hard time trusting strangers, and you need to accept that you need to create something to earn a bit of trust, first.

Generally, you should not start with trying to date the person, but rather trying to know the person, and building a relationship, and then consider dating. Hope that helps at least a bit

Bassicly it is a list of what i have learned over the years of being with my girlfriend, and her Friends telling me, I was a very socially awkward person, and eager to learn about how to approach people, to get out of my anti social bubble i had.

True, covid is not really bad. Some people use tinder to just get to know people, not neccesarly date. I know lots of people who use it that way, and if very often ends in a relationship, too. In case of tinder, you kinda need to keep in mind the same rules as i wrote Above, but it is definitely harder to get to know someone on tinder, because of this matching system. One day you can have multiple matches, other day 0 matches for a week. Key to tinder is definitely a good Photo, and interesting description, and starting a conversation with something about shared interests.

I got to know a lot of people from my country on a chating app that was specific for my country (Norwey), so even if i got to know someone there, visiting other city is not so bad for them. Althou im aware it is Way harder in states, as they are huge, and not every country has their own chating app.

But dont worry, covid will eventually go away. For now, try to get to know people online, you can "upgrade" your approach this way, and learn what works best for you. Who knows, you can even get to know someone who lives close in a game, i have had a luck like that multiple times, even recently i met a person from the same city in my ESO guild. But when the covid will finally go away, things will hopefully get back to normal. I do miss some of my gatherings with Friends, to play some board games, or just get drunk with wine we drink for taste and laugh at jokes even we dont understand for whole night. Covid kinda screwed up us all, but we can only hope people will start taking it seriously, so it will go away faster

Fun fact, mine and my Friends favorite game at night is to get all drunk, and play children game to answer questions in 15 seconds, these questions are really simple, but the fact we're drunk makes us make stupid mistakes, which for some reason are hillarious for us. The most memorable thus far is my Girlfriend saying Mother Kolkata from Teresa. Generally nothing special, but being drunk made us laugh at it to tears in the middle of the night, lol

Oh, i can also recommend you Bottled app! It is a chatting app, but more interesting. You write a letter, and send it in to the ocean, to find a random person in the world. The person can keep your bottle, which will make you two Friends and able to chat, or throw the bottle back into the ocean, to find a diffrent person. It is a great app to get to know people, and you really get a lot of bottles Daily, i cant even keep up with reading them all. If i remember correctly, you can even select targeted gender and country

Maybe I'm just a different breed than the girls you're exposed to, but as a girl, guys who act like this guy is way more likely to get my attention than someone who comes out swinging like you suggest. I can't think of a single man who took your advice that I wanted to spend even one minute with. Guys who try to cultivate a conversation are way more interesting and charming to me. You can be confident and not be flirtatious. I've never dated a guy who didn't take the time to get to know me first.

Maybe if you want someone for messing around with, your advice will work, but in my experience, girls who are into your tactics do not cultivate relationships. They want someone to mess around with and move on. Not saying there's anything wrong with that. It's good to know what you want out of people. But If you're looking for a sustained relationship, statistically your way isn't the way to go.

Honestly, I don't think flirting and complimenting is at all necissary at the start. You want to make sure you like the person you're trying to woo first, and you want to give them a chance to decide the same. There are key signs that women exhibit when they are relaxed and open to more flirtatious banter. Body language is so much more important than what is actually being said. Directly facing you, leaning in, mirroring your movements, laughing, preening. These are all signs that someone is comfortable and you can take the next steps.

Mine is an extreme case, but my best friend was a guy I knew for 6 years before I realised I really, really liked him. Like, it wasn't good enough for me to just be friends with him. I always thought he was a great guy and good looking to boot, but I had always told myself I was ok with just being friends. And then I was in denial for another 2 years before I said "fuck it" and told him. Turns out we're super compatible. I think a lot of that comes from being such good friends for so long.

I feel like building a friendship is the most important thing. Think about it. If you want someone to stick around for the long haul, they have to be your favorite person, and you theirs. To me, a perfect relationship is like living with your best friend.

I feel like attraction goes both ways. Men and women in general don't want to be with people they find unattractive. Lucky for all of us non-conventionally-attractive people, real human beings have types, and those types don't always align with what society deems attractive. Further, someone's personality really can carry their level of attraction.

In fact, I believe I read a study once on how it's actually better to be "ugly" than conventionally attractive. I think it was because when you're attractive, none of your features really stand out, so people think you're alright, but nothing special. When you're "ugly", it's because one of your features are more pronounced than others. With that, you get two groups. People who think you're ugly, and people who think you're hot stuff. Maybe even the hottest person they've ever met.

And sure. He was really cute when we met. But I stuck around because he was awesome. There were several attractive guys I met that day, and a few hinted at being attracted to me. I didn't maintain a friendship with a single one because their personalities sucked, and their flirtatious banter disgusted me. My SO tolerated my stupidity and made me laugh. Never once did he make a move on me.

I don't want to give anyone false hope or expectations. Of course attraction is important. But being attractive doesn't mean shit when you're a shit person imo. And someone somewhere will find anyone attractive. There's someone for everyone. And you have to give humans some credit. We're emotional creatures. We bond with people emotionally. Having a bond and genuine connection with someone instantly makes them more attractive to us. There was a psychologist that discovered you can make anyone fall in love with anyone if you ask the right questions. Questions that involve thought and getting to know the person you're talking to. You should look into it. His name is Arthur Aron and his study is something like "36 questions that lead to intimacy".

Yar, I got mine from my ex literally kissing me, pulling me into bed, pulling my face into her chest, moaning, even helped me take her pants off so I could go down. Seemed really nice, until she got mad and told me she didn’t want any of that, that she never wanted it to go that far, and that I was a bad person. She then used that as a basis to constantly tell me how horrible of a person I was with any kind of argument.

When I was a manager at a restaurant I had a 16 year old go to corporate and tell them I was sexually harassing her. Skipped over my GM, skipped over the District Manager, straight to the top. When corporate showed up and interviewed, I shit you not, every single employee, she was the only one who said I did anything. Every other employee told them that she was lying. However, because she had said something and didn’t want to have a chance at legal issues they let me go anyway. 6 years of climbing from the bottom of the pole in restaurants, as I was an assistant manager being trained to take over as a GM when I was 22. Hoping by 23 to take over that restaurant. Down the drain.

I have never, trusted any age of woman again. I hate it, because some of my best friends are females, and for the longest time it put a rift in those relationships because I was far too afraid to even hug them. Some of them came to me for safety, to have a shoulder to cry on, and get unfiltered advice and male perspective on things, and I wouldn’t even let them touch me when they were crying. I would legit sit in my recliner while they’re on the couch. No hugs. Nothing. Really made an impact on me for a while, and honestly I’m still climbing out of the mistrust that I have

I mean, I'm criticizing (the practice of moralizing over the presidency and then not applying the same standards to your own party) and haven't cheated or anything. While I agree that two adults are within their individual rights to meet for adulterous reasons, it doesn't absolve their responsibilities to other parties (through marriage or national interest) nor should it be excused on the religious or moral stage, should it be brought up by the initiator's supporters. To clarify the second qualifier, if Trump or his supporters want to act as if he is an upstanding moral Christian, he needs to actually live it, and evidence that he is not in fact one means that he is a liar and a fraud (or at least benefits from such). These are important characteristics to know about a potential candidate or politician.

Boys and men definitely aren't safe from lying manipulative and abusive women

And women and girls aren't safe from violent men

No one is ever guaranteed any kind of safety, and the existence of men's problems doesn't invalidate or minimize the problems that women experience

I'm very aware of, and involved with the problems my brothers face, but unfortunately a lot of them seem to think that their problems are being caused by women, and while some men are absolutely in abusive relationships, there is no grand shifting power dynamic that's causing men's problems.

Women being able to, and feeling comfortable expressing what does and doesn't make them comfortable is NOT bad thing.

Of course there will be people who lie, and some of those people will be women, and some of the victims will be men, but the idea that women should be believed less, or that it should be harder for them to talk about the things that happen to them is gross

In a professional setting, or with someone you don't know well, you should keep your hands to yourself, unless they are initiating the contact, then you simply match what they are doing.

In a relationship with someone that you know well, the level of comfort and acceptibility will obviously change, but it shouldn't really be hard not to make your friends and acquaintances uncomfortable.

If you're "hooking up" with someone for the first time, you should use your words, and ask them if it's ok to touch them. If they want you to, there will be no doubt. If the answer is anything other than a very enthusiastic 'yes' then you stop and apologize

There is a thing as non verbal consent, even though few venture to admit it nowadays. The rules of enthusiastic consent are written by armchair lovers, people who don't know how (or pretend not to know) about the complexities of human interaction.

Think about this situation:

Let's say that you want to get intimate with someone you date. Perhaps you'll like to hug them, kiss them and also grab their ass. How do you deal with this situation in a legally safe manner without killing of the mood? Do you ask for a general touch consent and hope it covers all three cases? Do you ask for all three at the start? Do you ask your first one and add the other two as you progress?

Personally, I won't do anything more than reciprocate a kiss before I ask if it's ok to touch them, certainly not touch anything that a bathing suit covers.

I am a male, so if I would to only expect the other to initiate human touch, I'll only touch myself or some other man for the rest of my life.

And the idea that you have to say "may I touch your breasts now" or anything else to "kill the mood" sounds like super virgin talk.

I.E.: I onced touched a girl's ass without asking. We were dancing and I gently lowered my hand from her waist to her ass. She wasn't receptive, so she took my hand and put it back to her waist. I got the message and we continued dancing till the song was over then I carried looking for other interests. I don't care if it has happened enough for it to "matter", all I know it has happened for innocent people who have tried to be decent human beings and save another person have been accused of "rape" or similar charges just for touching someone who wasn't willing, where it would have meant death for the same individual who made the accusation.

Honestly, I don't know jack-shit about where it is or isn't in place to touch someone in order to save them, but if the outcome of trying to save someone's life also carries the weight of being culprit of not having consent to touch them I'd rather not even risk it.

I understand your anger but you're missing the point trying to be made here.

Women who are hurt and assaulted should come forward, should be heard and protected, and if it's found the allegation holds water, we should pursue the attacker under the full extent of the law.

However the amount of false claims of rape or sexual harassment have grown significantly as a few women have learned to weaponize it. It's far from the majority of women absolutely. But the point is, as a decent man, I can't know if a woman would seize an opportunity to take advantage of me or not. It may be a small chance but nevertheless not worth the risk.

This causes me to not interact with women under any circumstance where any of my actions could be questioned. In a closed room together? Nope. Make a joke above a 5th grade level? Nope. Compliment her? Nope. One of my employees came in the day her dog died, crying and upset (She didn't call in prior) and I had to immediately stand up, back away and say "I'm sorry that happened". I couldn't even consider comforting her in any way besides generic words. Not a hug, a pat on the back, a hand on her shoulder. Men have to back away as if the woman is confirmed to have covid.

The bad part I'm leading up to is when the 2 sexes (or I suppose any 2 individuals) cannot interact with one another it hurts. The same way a woman is (Rightfully) scared and worried they could be harassed by a man, men now feel very scared and worried they could be accused of something fictional. Both of these outcomes can potentially be Earth shattering for the victim.

When we lose diversity and the ability to work together and be around each other we all lose. Women lose because they can't get support from the men around them and the world loses because some worked can't reach a position where they can start to make the changes in the world only they can.

People who are raped or abused deserve to be heard. People who make up shit suck. Don't confuse the two.

This is the real takeaway. This sub by it's nature always brings up the false accusations and as a result fail to recognize metoo as an important and even crucial social movement that among a lot of other things shed light on horrible open secrets and the normalization of sexual abuse especially in the media industry.

But on the other hand, there are some very naive or even straight up stupid women out there who seem to think being a woman automatically makes you a saint incapable of lying about issues like sexual harrasment. #Believeallwomen for example is such an idiotic statement if you take your time to think through it for more than 5 seconds, yet it gained a huge amount of traction on social media.

That is a good and humble dude.. I know this is not the US but I would hope he was still well within his rights to defend himself..

He didnt even give a hint of aggression toward the men chasing him and grabbing him, whereas if he wanted to, he could have easily stopped them and put them in their place.. instead he opts to not be aggressive, and listen to what they want, and instead bowing his head and crossing his arms..

I cant even imagine the restraint it would take to do that, because I am so mad just watching this.. if i had spent likely the majority of my life beating the shit out of people and then had someone grab me and hold me in place to do something i was CLEARLY uncomfortable with and for good reason then I honestly don’t know how I could have held myself back from at the very least pushing them off of me
