I’m 27F in a relationship for a little over 1.5 years with 27M and we live together. I bring up marriage a lot but my partner has made comments that I’ll be waiting a while but he does see that in the future with me. Discussions come up a lot about how I don’t wanna wait 4+ years since I’m already 27 and want a family. I listened to one of the Kevin Samuels shows and a woman was in a similar situation except she was with her man for 5 years. KS said “a man that wants to marry you will marry you” and then said “he tells you want you want to hear to keep the sex and to keep your company around but you’re too delusional and in love to see it.” I had my bf watch this and it started a really awesome conversation and actually helped him to see where I’ve been coming from and we realized we both have strong fears we need to work through but we both intend to be married to each other and came to a good resolution and he noted how he realizes now how important this is to me. It’ll be a continuing conversation with us, but I am curious of others opinions.

Are some guys slow? Do you think if a man wants to marry you he just will? What have your experiences been with a partner who is hesitant around the idea of marriage?
