I noticed after doing a google search about this issue that every article that pops up says the same thing: "It's harmless, natural, he still loves you!"

The funny thing is even if he were able to quit watching porn and masturbating compulsively, he’ll still be such a far cry away from having the skills necessary to be a healthy partner. Peel back the layers of addictive behavior and underneath you’ll find integrity abuse disorder and all sorts of character flaws around a lack of empathy, entitlement, selfishness, lack of personal accountability, emotional immaturity, and likely a personality disorder. Compulsive sexual behavior or sex addiction (and porn/masturbation definitely falls into this category) seems to be just the tip of the symptomatic iceberg in terms of the real issues these guys have. There’s such little data on recovery in this group, too. Everything I’ve read points to a very low likelihood of “recovery” defined as prolonged abstinence from the compulsive behavior.

IMO they may never have fully-functioning, healthy brains no matter how much treatment and therapy they undergo. It’s sad, but if we’re being realistic, these guys are probably just never going to be HVM

Two solutions this scrote could have done instead of insisting he needs to watch porn that is likely of women who look nothing like his gf:

Go to gf when you feel the need to masturbate to porn. Do NOT go jack off or watch porn.
Masturbate without porn, or to pics of gf ONLY.

You don't need porn to masturbate. Studies show that men who are denied access to porn will masturbate to thoughts of women they know, and even more likely to have thoughts of his partner.

So stupid that so many men act like masturbation is the same as watching porn. It isn't.
