I'm probably not the only one that thinks this, but I really don't give a shit about the people behind red pill. What these people are in real life does not concern me, I'm only interested in the teachings that actually work so I can better improve my life. Again red pill is not about picking up chicks.

Nothing TRP teaches is new. Those concepts have been around since before all of us. It just became more mainstream because of the culture shifts. Feminism and video games were the two biggest influences. Those two rising together were polarized. Women embraced independence while men embraced a form of dependence.

The advice has always been the same. Look as good as you can, don’t be afraid of rejection, have relationships on your terms.

I was born in the late 70s. I saw the culture shift away from marriage and all the way to todays relationship chaos. Culture completely broke down and now relationships are both everything and nothing at the same time.

Tom Leykis was a mainstream radio host for many years. He offered alot of entertainment value, didn't sell scam products and was "red pill" before there was a Rollo/Roosh/Roisy (?).

Rollo, RooshV are opposites.

Leykis was primarily an LA talk show host and one of his products was Leykis 101 - YouTube can help.

Tom Leykis might not have made a "term" such as AF/BB or hypergamy but he clearly spoke about it consistently in his programs.

Rubbish, his term was Poindexter for Betas.

He would be far more valuable assessing modern women and giving men points on the SMV and methods to "fight" back against a stacked SMV deck with far more name recognition.

Last time I looked, he's still active on Internet Radio. I gave up listening, cause he had a huge bee in his bonnet with Trump.

Why is TRP so useless now compared to even the Tom Leykis era? Tom Leykis offered FREE entertainment over the radio to a far wider audience.

Leykis was open that he was aiming primarily at entertainment and that's the niche he used.

What is the point of Rich Cooper, Rollo Tomassi, MLD, Jon Anthony, "Bull Dog Mindset" or any of these other clowns? Its far more entertaining and valuable to just listen to old Tom Leykis stuff for free online.

Stardusk and the older crew, have probably the best take on it all. When Stardusk and Rollo do podcasts together, Rollo drops his facade and shows his true knowledge and depth thereof.

Out of this whole "crew", Jon Anthony (despite being a PUA scammer) is the most valuable because he is accurate about the other scammers.

Horseshit, Anthony is just self-promoting and absolutely nothing else.

If you followed Leykis' methods today, you'd probably be locked up, definitely in the UK and Europe.

Most men that plug themselves into the red pill matrix today are watching whoever is the youtube algorithm reccomends first which is view based, and that is fresh and fit, Rich Cooper, and Rollo. A lot of their content is free to watch too.

Nobody associated with the red pill offers anything other than nonsense conspiracies and cherry-picked data to brainwash men when they're going through real trauma, which is the best time to do so.

In the last few years, the Red Pill has come back, but it's being re-branded by younger guys. They watched the older MRA’s guys get crushed by the media, feminists and the Uber Woke that learned not to call themselves “Men's Rights” groups and to stop appealing to people's sense of fairness and justice ( alimony, child custody bias) .

They get a social, political, and financial system in place that's quite happy with men being “ success objects,” worker bees, and drones. Hence, they approach it from evolutionary biology, psychology, and financial impact and how it affects dating, sex and marriage. They made it less political and more personal. They appealed to men with skin in the game, not the culture that already sees men as the enemy and doesn't want and fears a public debate on men's issues. In essence, they are building their movement using overall self-improvement as its mantra.

Leykis, to his credit, was doing that decades ago, although, in a more crass way, he was, after all, an entertainer, he us the unheralded grandfather of that movement.

I was a fan of Tom Leykis and yes, you are correct that he was way, way ahead of TRP as a philosophy. However, having stated that, what actual advice would he give men that really worked?

His whole schtick was to never spend any money on a woman and to treat her in a pump and dump, Bad Boy style. Made for fun radio when he would spar with women callers but nothing he said can be carried over to the real world.

Stop conflating a class of dating coaches with the Redpill. They seem to be rather pick-up artists (and scammers). MGTOW also came from the Redpill and some other guys are not or not really fully MGTOW but still not like these PUAs. Alexander Grace or Coach Greg Adams, for example.

Tom Leykis is the GOAT but Roissy-in-DC redpilled me a decade ago (back when his content on Citizen Renegade was free) and I found Tom on YouTube later

I think Kevin Samuels has done a pretty good job of doing the same sort of thing that Tom has, especially the aspect of him talking to people who disagree with his standpoints. He does target the black community, but there’s enough overlap across all races, that his messages still carry weight.

In this SJW era that we are in, RP personalities likely would get cancelled pretty quickly on the radio. Beyond that, people have by and large moved to YouTube, and other online media outlets. Listening to local radio isn’t nearly as common as it used to be. Me personally, the only time I listen to the radio is when I’m in my parents’ cars. (So once or twice when I go visit them)

Leykis is still around, but his website isn’t nearly as far reaching as his radio show was. He’s pretty much fallen out of flavor, and him being kicked off the radio for like 5 years didn’t help his brand. He pretty much got forgotten about.

There is a blast from the past. Not sure who Rollo is. I remember hearing him on the radio in the mid-to-late 90s. My mom listened to whichever station he was on. I couldn’t tell you much about what he talked about but I do remember him once talking about some kind of workplace lawsuit over the Dolores/Clitoris episode of Seinfeld. He said this type of lawsuit was the reason he never talks to female employees at his station. I know I heard many more of his shows but that is the one that stands out from memory.

It’s bananas that guys would pass up someone like Bulldog (fit, handsome, successful with women, teaches you that you can be with women just without getting walked on, not a big complainer) and choose Leykis (Steve Bannon twin, unfit, ugly, chauvinist to the point of repelling, his womanizing abilities are probably weak at best) as a major influence.

Cooper has some good things but he’s also got such a chip on his shoulder that he has as many “issues” as the women he criticizes. Not to even mention the the monumental hypocrisy of him saying single moms are trash when he’s a single parent himself

Each one has something to bring to the table, but in a world of choices I try to take advice from the people I’d like to be like, look like, sound like, and act like. And Leykis ain’t it for any of those things.

I mean what the hell is wrong with making money while providing value to people? Do you work for free OP? What values are you providing for free? Do you provide anything at all? Most of these guy's materials are free and readily available on YouTube aniway, paying for courses and shit is optional, you don't even have to buy their books.

There are thousands of people out there who thank these guys for the difference (for the suppsed "snake oil") they made in their life and they are not shy to be public about it either. Many of them never paid a penny. What's the difference between those people who get the results and those who don't, while listening to the same material? It's up to them to make it work, yet if they fail they do the exact same thing that caused their failure and blame everything and everyone but themselves. Well go on i say, meanwhile the rest of us thrives. 👌
