As usual, the first two photos are a façade from snapchat filters; which are getting out of control on dating apps. I swear to God, 80% of dating profiles of 29+ year old women these days use filters to de-age their wrinkly jowls and crows-feet.

Some interesting observations: She claims to be "giving up" but she's still there because she knows she has little other choice. "Spiritual" is a flag for me. I feel that most spiritual people have or will have a crisis of purpose in their lives. An atheist? OK. One of the many monotheist? OK. But "Spiritual" seems a vague foggy indecisive answer. I expect someone who's Spiritual to say belief in God is stupid, but "I definitely feel the wisdom in the wind & trees." Opinions on this may vary.

It might be the weight, but I sense from the third picture that she probably has done some hard drugs - heroin or meth maybe. It's the diagonal crease at the bottom edges of the nose.

Also, we see four pictures of her, but none show her smiling.

She's 38 and already has given birth to some man's children. She has lived the majority of her life. The most important critical part of her life and those decisions were more than 15 years ago. At this point she is living out the remainder.

My intention is not to be mean. I wish to impress upon you the vital importance of the early years of the one life that we are given. If she wanted a relationship, she should have found a good man, offered herself for marriage, and then done what is necessary to keep that marriage strong.

I see in her face a depressing level of unhappiness. I see that she has given up. I don't feel sorry for her. God gave her all that she needed. I am late forties and am in the same situation in which I'm simply living the remainder of my life now that my kids are grown. One main difference, however, is that, thanks to women like her, I have no interest in a relationship now. I will focus on my kids and try to educate those around me.

I kind of assumed that since they likely get exponentially more legit matches that getting caught out by the fake one would he obvious - the one guy obviously hotter than all your other matches

Such a difference isn’t always obvious for men who don’t get many in the first place

When I used tinder in my mid 20s that was what it was like - majority of matches I actually got were fake. So I couldn’t exactly benchmark what they were like compared to real ones

It seems like the fakes are clamped down more now (at least on some apps). And I mean legit fakes. Not the ones who aren’t serious and just want Insta followers or OF subscribers
