Mods are doing a good job. If it gets too hectic they can always go on a banning spree or just make the sub private. And never open it again. Keep in mind we have to look for 3 things

Bots: they’re getting really complicated these days so it’s getting harder to distinguish. But basic bots can be found out if you ask it an out of pocket question that has nothing to do with the conversation. If it replies like nothing happened then it’s a bot. For the more complicated ones look out for absolutely perfect grammar. People just don’t do that.
Feminists. Even though I’d advise you to just leave them alone they seem to just always want to insert themselves into the conversation or just insult you because you said something they don’t like. If it comes to that just stay factual and don’t let the debate drag on forever cause keep in mind; they always need to have the last word.
Literal FEDS: uses talking points like alt right/ MAGA ALT- right blah blah blah you get the point. Just call them a FED and %90 of the time they block you or just delete the whole conversation. It’s not cause they’re mad they just don’t want other people seeing what you’ve said. Keep in mind there’s also people who are literally being paid PER MESSAGE for helping with “misinformation” so keep it short and quaint.

About 18 months ago they began aggressively invading and sockpuppet brigades were a common thing for a while, yes.

It has died down over the past 3-6 months, but the current sockpuppet brigades do still come in.

You can spot them a mile away because they have accounts that are somewhere between 12-18 months old, with no karma at all, and they're just looking to incite rage or generate evidence which they'll use to report and try to get the sub taken down.

So far, this has not worked, because...well...

They're idiots. Really. That's it.

Bet they forgot to feed their cats, too.

There's been a rise of replies that are hostile towards men, though I haven't seen an increase in posts as yet. And those replies are getting more virulent, people trying to justify completely untenable positions because it suits their politics, when previously they'd take a response and just leave it at that.

It's actually a good sign. Sort of.

It means that we're appealing to new people.

People who formerly didn't think much of men's rights had some reason to find us, but soured when they saw our power level. They're probably still mildly anti-feminist (or so they think, we know that they're still just feminist-lite and very gynocentric).

Feminists are all over Reddit. And they are like a bunch of agressive Karen angry/upset girlfriend that will find one word in your post and turn it against you to make you look like you are oppressing women.

They are truly frustrating to talk to, and even if you say something nice or positive about women, they will find a way to keep attacking.

So I just diss them up and stop engaging.

nothing wrong with both sides viewing the same material. What you don't need is for the sub to become an echo chamber of delusional people soothing each others overgrowing fragile egos. I like to hear all sides so I can make an informed decision. I got booted from female dating strategy because I also belonged to this sub. So they arbitrarily decided I can only be in one and chose this one. I didn't even post anything in fds. The tentacles of censorship reach that far, do you or anyone want this sub to be like that? How will that help communicate your feelings or valid concerns if you ex out half the population from hearing them?

This place is a source of strength for men's rights as people will explore ideas and observations that other places are scared of bringing up, aren't aware of or aren't allowed to talk about so feminist see it as a threat.

I'm usually not in favor of censorship, but it would be better if we could focus on discussing how we can improve society without having our energy wasted on arguing with them.

For that reason, I think banning people who come to cause issues and promote feminist concepts is a good idea.

There is a reason I DON'T subscribe/follow ANY subreddits. So I wouldn't get banned from other places for commenting here. They cannot really ban you if you never followed in the first place. Only thing that can keep me out is privating a subreddit.

There’s a great potential for men’s rights enthusiasts here to identify the hypocrisies and overreach of contemporary laws and ideologies that harm and hinder men in the name of advancing women’s equality. All the logic and the pain is legitimate. In this way men’s rights and real feminism have the same ends. Continuing to assert real equality by undoing both patriarchy and harmful instances of matriarchy should be the real path. The whatabouts and resentments are valid, and the distraction undermining men’s rights is the assumption that equal opportunity and fair expectations can’t be achieved while settling for misogyny and venting instead of pushing legislation.

The only post of that type is one calling out the anti-feminist circlejerking of this sub, and regardless of what you think of feminism, it’s true that many comments tend to always blame feminists and feminism. I saw this morning upvoted comments compared feminism with goddamn NAZIS. How can you be more biased than that!?

OP is doing it right now. What’s wrong with feminist trying to understand our view and discuss over gender topic? You prefer them to stay in their sub, further growing an echo-chamber, or do you want them to understand out side of the gender fight? Because the more we generalize feminists and feminism as anti-male and only advocating for women supremacy, the more they’ll avoid us and generalize us as incels. If this sub is being brigaded why isn't anyone saying where from? There's more feminists online than MRAs, of course you'll find them more. If you don't know where from then it seems like baseless speculation. And another reason which speaks to the moral character of this sub is that they're less ban happy than feminist subs usually.

Most of us here are feminists who want true equality across the board but keep feeling the impact of double standards from people acting like feminists.

making sure women have the same equality as men doesn't mean removing rights from men or benefitting off the backs of men. In most 1st world countries, women do have the same rights while also reaping the benefits of being "victim."

I know many women who stand up for men constantly due to the way society has been treating men as a whole.

Honestly I'd rather it was left absolutely as open as is reasonably possible.

I've happily made myself unpopular here by introducing a bit of nuance, and that's exactly the kind of nuance that isn't tolerated over on r/askfeminists, for instance. I think as a result that subreddit is the very definition of an echo chamber and I would strongly encourage r/mensrights to avoid the same trap. We all need input from people we don't agree with and there is absolutely no benefit to some sort of ideological purity.

Right now I'd post there as much as I post here, and probably make myself just as unpopular, but they simply won't permit it. r/mensrights should not go down the same road, even if it becomes quite inconvenient. And I see no evidence it is.
