Yeah, that's reflected in reality. People can and do cold approach. Sometimes it works, most of the time it doesn't.

Who's against cold approaching? Just take apathy or outright rejection as rejection and keep it moving quickly without issue.

Compliment, ask for socials/number quickly b4 it gets annoying, send follow-up msg shortly after, escalate if u get a positive response, ABORT MISSION if no response/negative/lukewarm if ur gonna b bitter about it, circle back once weekly or monthly if its cool

Yea I see nothing wrong with the cold approaching. But lots of guys I've talked to say something weird like "you're afraid of me right?" I just never talk to them again after that. I feel no fear but when they assume I should it's a red flag and basically admitting they are scary. I just say that yes I'm afraid then never talk to them again.
