I quit nicotine 6 months ago, I gained 45lbs since…. I had muscle memory so that helped but nicotine strangles your appetite.

I remember you. Dude you're just not eating enough, you said in the other post that you're only eating 1000-1500 calories a day. Go see a doctor if you want, but regardless you just need to eat more food. I also don't know how tf you're putting down 1-1.5k calories over 6 meals, they must be the smallest meals ever.

Lets also just get the height thing out of the way as well since you mentioned it. When you meet chicks not happy with your height you're probably not going to miss out on much anyways. They most likely have really high expectation or maintenance. You're dodging a bullet there. So just take care of looking good, fashion, hygene and having a healthy looking body.

If you’re having trouble gaining weight this means you absolutely need to start tracking calories and figure out your maintenance calories. A caloric surplus is what will make you gain weight.

Aim for high protein with each meal, in combo w the gym you will slowly watch your body transform how you wish. There’s plenty detailed breakdowns on YouTube

Starting off with fitness is a good idea, so all good there.

If you do everything right, you will probably see significant gains early on. Especially if you are overly skinny. You should see rapid gains. Even if you think you are a hard gainer, you don't really know unless you have lifted before. You have to eat right and lift correctly. There are plenty of resources out there for that, so check those.

But do realize, you will gain lots of muscle in the first 6 months. Not everyone realizes this at first. But you need to eat the right amount of protein, eat at a slight surplus, lift hard pushing until failure, and most importantly have consistant workouts over a period of time. That said, 110 to 150 is a huge increase. So, don't expect that right away. But, you should see a good 10-15 lbs of gains in your first year if you are on the skinny side.

Quitting smoking will be the biggest component of this. It’s suppressing your appetite, and more intense work outs won’t be possible if you’re a heavy smoker

Get a good whey protein to make a daily shake. Mix it the night before so you can have it as a snack if you don’t work from home
Do a small set of squats and push-ups each day. Aim for 20 each spread throughout the day
If you join a gym, work out your legs consistently, especially squats and leg press. These type of workouts promote muscle gain
Eggs and tuna will be your friends in terms

Eat tons of processed food, sugar and carbs every day, eat more than 2400 calories per day, use myfitnesspal app to track calories, and you will gain weight like crazy. The problem is you will probably get fat and maybe develop diabetes and possibly die, but you will stop being skinny

Good luck, always good to change your life in a positive manner. Try to enjoy the process, it's much more fun eating much/clean, exercising etc if you really start enjoying doing it, instead of seeing it as an investment for being more succcesful with girls. Focus on how you feel after doing these things, it will make things a bit easier to maintain.

Hey OP, it's awesome to see you're making choices to improve your life. That is attractive, and it's even more attractive if you're doing it for yourself instead of for ladies.

You mentioned that you'll start approaching after you've gained the weight. While improving your physical stature will give you better results, there's a mental component to it as well. Keep working on your health, but keep approaching. There's parallel skill sets to work on, and you can definitely do both!

Being more social is a bit like working out, though not as structured. But the more you attempt to be social, the better you are at it. You won't start out lifting hundreds of pounds, and you won't start out being the life of the party. But over time, you will get better at both.

I think working out is a good start. There is not a corner in the universe that I have ever been considered attractive. Now, age 61, I worked on my weight to get to a decent place through diet and exercise, and then stumbled into various weight lifting programs at the first of the year that allow me to target pectorals, shoulders, back. It’s really crazy in just this short time I’ve gotten results noticed by women. I’ve been experiencing lots of flirting, although I’m just enjoying being attractive to my wife, who alternately encourages the flirt games, and then gets jealous sometimes. As a ginger, I don’t have that “silver fox” thing going, but just this little bit seems to go a long way. And maybe confidence is part of it, but I wish I had done this long ago.

Quitting smoking will help you gain weight, so that's probably going to be crucial to eating more which is KEY. Nutritiant rich foods are what you should build your meals around: oats, brown rice, wholemeal pasta etc, broccoli and fish. My hack is eating a lot of quark as well but idk if that's a thing where you are. Build your workouts around squats and deadlifts - you will see the best results faster in all other exercises if you smash these. Pull-ups are also key, so get a bar at home if you can, and do them whenever you're waiting for anything (kettle to boil, the bathroom to be free, etc). Don't ego lift in the beginning with squats and deados especially (no back injuries!), work on the movement pattern with a managable weight and get your form down, then add weight. Cardio is necessary to help you perform better in the gym and get bigger. I run every morning before brek (only 15 mins) and find it's enough since I do it every day. Try and build in cycling to your day too if poss. Order some whey isolate powder. AthleanX on Youtube is your new and best PT. Good luck man

Everything is a matter perspective, I would love to be 5'9" and 110lb. Instead I'm 5'5", 190#. But I didn't have problems with women 7-up because I learned Game and was already good at being social. Just keep pushing, ignore negative shit, be consistent and you'll pull it all off! - ZenMachine

You can do it. People here will say body isn’t that important but at 110 you will look very bad to both women and men. That’s not to shame you that’s to be realistic. Hetero feminine women want a man stronger and bigger than them and men respect other men who share those attributes. 110 at 5’9” is anorexic levels please be safe. Learn to love food track your meals. It’s not enough to eat like a bird all day then have a pizza at night. On paper it looks like a lot of food but will struggle to break 2000-2500 cals. Instead eat regularly with plenty of protein. Eating regularly takes getting used to it’s not easy you will feel full you will not want to eat upon waking but you have to. You get used to it. Quitting cigarettes is a great first step. That alone with put some weight on you and combined with lifting, the weight gains will be where you want them.

Not smoking will also increase your social interactions/opportunities in a positive way. The hard part will be dealing with the physical and psychological withdrawal symptoms.

You’re not short just eat everything you can (try and keep sugar low though) and follow a simple PPl routine you’ll do fine. Creatine helped me gain weight too just make sure to drink plenty of water.

The book and the app "Starting Strength" has a section on individuals who went to gain weight. I find it is a good program for a newbie lifter.

Find a good TDEE calculator to determine roughly what your calorie needs are for the day, then use MyFitnessPal or something similar to track what you're eating. If you do start lifting weights try and figure out what your macros are (% of protein, fat, carbohydrates).

You can do this, it will take some time but stick with it. And yes fashion and hygiene are huge. Women definitely notice what men wear and they make value judgments off of it. Just upping your fashion sense and taking care of your skin and teeth, your watch, your shoes, women notice it all
