I posted this as a comment in a similar sub (I'll add some things). As I go through my divorce I'm noticing a lot of patterns in everyone else's stories. Everyone's situation is different and unique to them, but I'm noticing from women that the same things are being said and done across the board. Let's review:

-Once a woman decides she is done, she sits on it for 2 years before deciding to divorce.

-Most claim abuse. Not saying it isn't taking place, but most times it isn't communicated clearly. We are just supposed to know and change. Fact is, most men don't know their behavior is wrong. We aren't mind readers and women are typically awful communicators.

-Says you're narcissistic. This term gets used more in today's society than your ex wife.

-She's given you signals in her silent cry for help, hoping you'd change.

-Says she wants to be alone and independent. Feminism kicks in.

-Once she asks for seperation, she's already made her mind up. There's almost always someone else waiting in her mind, and/or they've already started talking.

-We then make the mistake of trying to save our marriage. It honestly just makes things worse and then you get the "Why now?" train.

-Files for divorce and already has been dating or is serious with the next fella, making it seem like she's moved on quick. This is monkey branching.

-Gets an entire new friend group. Official with the new man. The world revolves around her now and there's nothing you can do. If there's children, they take it hard and she doesn't care. It's all about her.

-The new relationship doesn't pan out. Meanwhile, the man she left is doing better for himself health wise and financially than he ever was while married. She is now left alone after the new dude used her. Just another spoke on the wheel. At this point, she starts contacting you again.

Fellas, did I miss anything?
