First off, dating matters a lot because that's the main process people today pair up and reproduce. Even according to (non-religious secular academic) evolutionary biology, the main driving force for organisms is to survive in order to reproduce, where reproduction and passing on ones genes is a huge goal. Its also a huge component for life and mental health well being, not to mention the healthiest environment for children to grow up in.

Everyone acknowledges there is a crisis in dating, people not pairing up, not having families (building block of society), not having kids. This undoubtedly has real consequences for society, when there's not enough people to maintain and support the existing infrastructure.

Feminists don't even seriously want to address this issue. In mainstream media they push the idea that women don't need men anymore, and so if men want a partner they need to "do better" (here's one short from the times UK pushing this: https://www.tiktok.com/@thetimes/video/7595188189233532182). And on the other hand will present the "male loneliness" narrative so they can push therapy.

But they will never seriously consider a discussion about campaigns, policies, or ideas in order to actually fix the crisis.

They always default to "oh so you want government mandated sex slaves for men?" or some other rhetoric like that to derail any serious conversation.

To be clear, I'm not proposing anything like that, I'm not even proposing a solution here, I'm just pointing out that BP/feminists are afraid of even having the conversation.
