Now imagine this - you're at a dance party, you see a man spitting on his partner or hitting her or calling her derogatory names. Obviously you run up and you're like "what's wrong with you?!" and he responds with "oh, it's fine, she's into it". Like... that's still not okay, still not normal. The same applies to sex, you can’t suddenly behave like a savage towards your partner and hurt them. If you're a man who hits women then you're a man who hits women, right? You're still you, the same exact person who should find it completely unacceptable to hit and hurt women in any and all settings.

I know there are many women who defend "rough sex" and it makes me so sad. But it took me a long time to work through this myself because it's a difficult question you need to ask yourself before you can snap out of this. Why do I want the men who are supposed to love me to hurt me instead?

You get home after the event of having your cervix pounded to mincemeat (as another fds commentor accurately put it), wherein he was the only one who came and you wonder what is was all for. It's not that women have lower libidos (I'm horny damn near all the time), it's just that you have the foresight to know a guy isn't going to move the right way and it's just gonna be an all-penetrative-no-swirl/grind self serving performance with them so you completely abstain. Better to just stimulate yourself and plug the image of whoever you're attracted to in. Nothing beats the imagination and any woman knows if you want a job done right, you have to do it yourself, unfortunately.

I agree about the libfems, I don't know how they came to the conclusion to coddle and handle guys with kid gloves. Always giving them the benefit of the doubt when a great deal of them downright hate women lol. I could never betray other women like that.

Apparently modern sex means that women are supposed to be okay about being choked, bitten, slapped, pinched, having their hair pulled, viciously pounded doggy-style ("the only thing that will make them cum") and anal. What I didn't expect was that this is all considered de rigeur, and not clarified ahead of time. So that means I've had to clarify ahead of time (the aforementioned laundry list) which means that I'm unfuckable because he says "he would be too nervous about making a mistake." Ladies, I'm Gen X...and none of this bullshit went on in the 80s when I was a teen and young adult. This is all as a result of the porn that is easily gotten on the internet. Women exist to be abused, for the man's sexual enjoyment, apparently. Of course "not all men" but all of the ones I've met in the last five years.

OMG, why is this exactly what I was thinking about earlier! So, I am abstinent but I date quite a bit. You’re thinking, doesn’t that conflict? That’s an FDS standard, sure, but in real life doesn’t it get hard. Not really. I was just thinking back on the last 10 years and there was really only a handful of times when it was difficult for me to abstain. Back in college, it’s just seemed like things were so much more passionate. Guys really kissed you and everything was an adventure. But now, idk. Maybe it’s the culture, maybe it is porn, but there’s no sense of gradual gratification. I remember back in the day, you used to make out with guys all night and everybody was happy at the end of it. But now the ordinary, whether that be making out or “vanilla” sex doesn’t satisfy. Guys are always trying to push the envelope farther and farther. But no matter how far they push it, they are never satisfied. It’s an appetite that only brings with it more craving. Just emptiness. And that’s how physical interactions are now-empty. Truth be told when women say they have a difficult time with abstaining now I don’t know what they’re talking about. You couldn’t pay me to get with most of these men. They seem perfectly fine when you’re talking to them and even if you hang out with them for a while. But when the deal goes down they just turn into these dead-eyed soulless monsters. It’s actually really sad. These guys think that p0rn like experiences are what they crave but if they put down that 2-d lie and treated women well, we’d all experience passion beyond our wildest dreams. But I’m not wasting myself on some pornsick scrote. I’m waiting until a real man comes along

Question- does anyone ask new prospective partners about how many hours a week they spend watching porn? If so, how do you go about it and when?

I ask because I would strongly prefer someone who watches sparingly, if at all. From a dependency perspective, it is damaging, as smoking cigarettes is (and I am seeing the porn industry react defensively now, much the same as the tobacco industry did in the 60s, when research against smoking health hazards began to gain traction). And while it may not hurt the lungs, it warps perspective....damage that extends beyond one’s own body.

But while you can smell heavy cigarette usage (if only there was a “porn scent”!), and it is considered normal to, say, filter out a smoker (i.e. it is a filter on dating apps), no equivalent exists in porn. It’s truly like the 60s to where we are expected to accept that all men do it, and ThAt’S jUsT hOw It Is 🤪

But just as there were nonsmoker men 60 years ago, there are surely nonporners now. Just curious as to how others have sussed that out.

ETA: Maybe the best way is to make it clear that I’m not ok with it, and that if it does come out that he is a regular user, we are done. That way, he won’t want to waste time with me anyway if there is a clear end down the road for us.

Porn doesn't cause lung disease or lung cancer like cigarettes... but they definitely cause a cancer on society, men, women, and future children.

Porn encourages the growth of abnormal LVM cells, sex abuser cells, misogyny cells and not seeing women as human cells.

Although porn doesn't cause a physical organ cancer like smoking does, there's definitely an argument to say it is cancerous to society in nature.

The growth of porn sick LVM in society ruins relationships, destroys marriages, creates divorce that children have to bear witness to, creates victims of abuse, misogyny in the work place and just really bad standards of sex.

There's such a huge benefit to society if porn didn't exist and if people found healthier, more organic, loving, emotional ways to connect with sex. Thanks to porn, all society is being fed right now is the GMO artificial corrupt version of it.

LOL. That would be amazing. On cigarette packages outside of the US they actually have photos of lung cancer, black tar on teeth and disease to put people off it even further.

Can you imagine WWE wrestling has a warning sign saying "Do not try these moves at home. It can cause serious injury or death." Yet porn, which now has even more extreme content than the average WWE wrestling episode, has no warning signs?

Would be funny seeing the equivalent on porn sites. "This content can encourage you to cheat on your partner, feel dissatisfied with real life women, have a male-centric warped unpleasurable concept of sex, cause extreme addiction, erectile dysfunction, depression and loss of direction in life, and encourage you to abuse, rape and use women for sexual means. It can harm your children and the functioning order of society as there are many themes of an incestuous, morally corrupt and traumatising nature. Would you like to continue?"

Cause that's the reality.

It's an difficult topic. Most men I know or have spoken too are defending their right to watch porn. They don't see any problems with it and another argument is, that video games also won't make them a killer because they like to play it. Video games are also good for the concentration and what ever. So porn wouldn't take their empathy for women, because they like women, you know!

I also had sex which I regret in retrospective. You really can tell if someone had watched a great amount of porn. Reading the article, which was very enlightend, the author is right: women don't experience sex as a pleasure in their perspective. It's so male oriented nowadays that women's lust need to be rediscovered.

I'm single right now and I'm only willing to commit a relationship if we are equals in any way.
