Was at a bar once arguing with a woman about identity politics and a statistic came up, cant remember exactly what it was, but she was empirically wrong; I'd just read the study that day so I called her out. She didn't back down, even when I showed her the evidence, she never admitted she was wrong, and followed up that I was "mansplaining" the issue to her. I asked her how that was the case, considering she was WRONG, and we both knew it. I told her she should stop trying to 'femsplain' stuff to me I know more about because of some misguided ideology she has that made her opinion more valid than fact. She was not happy, nor did she back down.

Moral of the story. People who use words like mansplain are self aggrandizing morons who don't understand that strangers often try to edify other strangers about topics that they may not know about, and that this isn't a problem of trying to talk down to the stupid woman who doesn't know anything, it's supposed to be an exchange of ideas that leads to better knowing a topic, and better knowing someone else.

Unfortunately, women and others who use terminology like this most definitely have some kind of chip on their shoulder, and as far as I'm concerned, do not deserve my respect. I tried having the conversation with several of them. They don't want it. They think they want equality; they want supremacy.
