The worst part is, so many men fail to even wash it.

Yeah. My friends have told me so many horror stories. Young women often think they have to put up with gross men. If you are suddenly getting UTI’s after becoming sexually active with someone, look at your partner. They may not be as hygienic as you think.

What the fuck ew. Only with one intact guy (rare in my country), but he was very clean, but I have heard the horror stories. The horrible things that could happen from that petri dish being pushed in you. I do often wonder how we managed to have sex before the hygienic practices we have implemented today without us dying from infections.
Certainly could not practice your libfem SexPos lifestyle that's for sure, that would be even riskier than it is now.

Just get a Great Dane. They’re giant coach potatoes and the total sweetest.

Cane Corsos, too, but they're typically not the... run and hide kind. They need a lot of training, though, and for a long duration. But they're unbelievably loyal and loving to their owner/parent/whatever you consider yourself.
Edit- also CC are pretty active/you should keep them active, so I have not idea why I chimed in. Lol. I just saw a big dog discussion and I ran over here.

Hey, it’s good to know about a breed before you get one! And it’s good for a gal living alone to have a dog. (Not sure why, but crime research seems to support the theory that a dog means you’re less likely to be a target in your own home.)
Great Danes can be a little unpredictable if they’re male and not neutered so there is that. But they’re pretty lazy, so it’s a surprisingly low maintenance breed if you socialize them when they’re small enough to physically manage.

My next dog I am wanting a Great Dane. I love big dogs, don't know if I can ever go back below 60 or so pounds. My baby's not even a year old and he is weeeeeell above that, himself.
He's a mushy baby when he gets to know you, but obviously does his job when he doesn't know you. An all-around mush might be best for the next one, haha.

Tbh, Kangal's are given a bad rep too. While don't get me wrong they can probably end a man, they most likely had it coming, they actually really sensitive dogs that get along well with children. They make really good family dogs.

The more I think about having another kid (mine was planned, the other parties weird birth related midlife crisis was not), the more I think about a nanny and a sperm bank. And I adore sex, just haven't really found a decent match.

I don't want kids and I like sex too. Haven't found a good match (but not trying either). I know that a lot of single women/moms are choosing to stay single because "1 less child I have to tend to." And it's sad because raising a child is hard, even with a partner. Hope you find a sperm bank and nanny that works for you!

This makes me so sad. The whole selling point of marriage under patriarchy is to always have someone to help/support you. And it breaks my heart that most of the time husbands add to the hard time.
At least all the married couples I know are like that. The only healthy married couple I know is my boyfriend's parents. And it gives me hope but still not enough yet tbh

I bought extra copies of “Wifework” to gift to my nieces and friends’ daughters at their high school graduation (bundled with “I’m not for everyone and neither are you” and a couple other classics).
It’s a damning statement against marriage unless you have kids with your husband. Other than that specific scenario, marriage doesn’t statistically benefit women who don’t have kids or who already have kids with someone else.
