Holy fuck. I've had two babies, and heard some of these horror stories but that's so fucking fucked. Men joke during labour like it's some sort of problem they have to endure, meanwhile the woman who has grown a living being inside her for nine months, changed her life to ensure that body is as healthy as possible, endured SO MANY COMPLICATIONS of normal pregnancies including vomiting, nausea, constipation, pain, aches, squished bladders, water retention, and so much more, let alone the worse ones, and then is basically getting her uterus crushed several times a minute for many hours before pushing a baby out (I had a 33 and then 24 hour for my babies) or having severe abdominal surgery to remove it safely, has to listen to him complain because he has to sit around for some of it.

Omg. I had a male doctor deliver my son and he gave me an pitocin drip at 7am to speed things up because our football team made the playoffs and had a game at 3pm 🤦🏻‍♀️ AND he asked if we could put the game on. He and my (at the time) husband were happy as clams.
