John Gray in his ted talk explains that studies showed than women’s stress level is higher than those of men in a relationship (4x more at home to be exact). This is insane. If your relationship brings you stress, stay single ! No one In Nature is able to survive to long term stress .

This is part of the reason I'm WGTOW. I've already lived a stressful life as it is being in medicine. At one point, I do want to be able to relax and enjoy my earnings and freer schedule. That's not going to happen if I marry and have kids straight out of residency.

It's amazing that what we are conditioned to believe is the ultimate end goal for our lives is so harmful to us.

I thought I was the only one who was stressed out by men and dating. Turns out, other women are just better at hiding it.

What do you ladies think of getting a sperm donor? On one hand it seems like a nice solution, but on the other I really don't want to help some dude reproduce who has done effectively nothing for me.

Honestly, don't buy into the lie that you'll be happy with a man. Like you're happy now, society is just gaslighting and manipulating you to change that. They can't stand that you're happy because that means that there is one less man happy. Men need women. And that's why they've built this whole patriarchy, they are the ones who benefit from women. Also please remember a LVM will work you to death until you're old age then trade you in for a new, younger one. You will not be rewarded for your suffering.

i never had a relationship, just a situationship that went on for far too long.

i cringe when i think about all the stress it caused me, obsessing over texting, social media, dates and all the effort i put into looking my best everytime!

i can only imagine how much worse it would be in a serious relationship/living together/financial commitment/kids! 💀

In high school as much as now I didn't see how other girls couldn't sense this?? Why did they bother? It looked like such a tedious pain to put up with the arrogance alone, let alone everything else. I mean you have to really hate your life and give up on everything. No amount of 'well some men/ not all men are bad' changes this or improves the situation

All you have to do is browse the breaking mom subreddit and the stepparent subreddit to see all these problems and stress these women are taking upon themselves.

And yeah, I know it's called the stepparents subreddit, but it's mostly women complaining about how they took over the wifey duties and they are used for labor and the father doesn't back them up or take responsibility and the mom hates them.

Curious though that stepdads don't face the same stress oh wait it's not a mystery, women are just expected to take over childcare even though it's not their children.

I’m 23 and look like I’m a teenager. I’ve never been in a relationship (I’m aromantic) and I’m not interested in being in one, ever. My stress is solely due to grad school stuff, but otherwise I’m glad I don’t have to worry about a toxic relationship on top of that. I feel like I will look younger than my age my whole life, unlike my mother who had to deal with my abusive father and looks tired now. It makes me sad to see how young and pretty she used to look.
