1. There is a relationship between masculinity and predatory behavior.

Feminists have been saying this for a while, but men clearly are attracted to vulnerability. Just look at all the "step bro, I'm stuck" porn out there. Or any porn. Or the way men go for younger women. Or that men are more likely to be pedos. Or more likely to rape. Or any number of examples that show how men kind of get turned on by having all the power. Or even how butch lesbian relationships have vastly more problems with abuse than lipstick lesbian ones.

  1. "Nice guys finish last" is not just a meme. Default femininity is repulsed by male vulnerability.

Men have been saying this for ages. Women disagree, but every example they give of "liking vulnerability" is just a guy flexing. The "handicap theory" says that male birds are more colorful because it proves their strength; they have no ability to hide at all but yet survive. Men crying at the right time, or wearing womens clothing, or acting out of gender is just an extension of this. But the men doing that still know better than to be truly vulnerable. Lying in bed too depressed to go to work is not a turn on for women, nor is sharing that you barely can hold it together.

If a man shares true vulnerability, he won't turn the women around him on. He'll become disposable. The lack of empathy that feminists have shown for male issues is pretty indicative of how little women care about truly vulnerable men.

The one exception to this is if the woman is trying to entrap the man by creating dependence on her, in which case vulnerability is a bonus. The same case that is more typical for men, but in reverse. This desire to be depended on by a man is often prerequisite by extremely good looks, money, massive loneliness, or other such external motivations (not love itself).

The ways these would feed into each-other are immense and cyclical. If feminine leans away from vulnerable males, that is an issue because -- in reality -- everyone is vulnerable; it's an impossible standard that suffocates self love. If masculine enjoys vulnerable females, that is an issue for obvious reasons.

In this theoretical system, men can't trust women to care about them truly because they know they are vulnerable on the inside and are forced to hide it. And women can't trust men because they know they're "luxory traps" who enjoy becoming a dependency.

This is just my theory, but it all seems to line up. What do you think?
