Women don't actually want their men to "be in touch with their feelings". Men don't show emotion or share their feelings because there is no benefit for them to do so in society or their relationships.

Boy, nothing more romantic than winning and dinning some woman some guy casually slept with on a night, so romantic!, more like boooooring😂😂

You see, i noticed the biggest issue with this discourse is one side still operates from a traditional masculinity standar while the other does this modern 50/50 stuff.

like yeah if a woman does 50/50 and has no traditional masculinity expectations then who cares about n count?

But if a woman has even the slightest traditional expectation no way im gonna go throught that hassle for a slag, not that they would care anyways since they claim to be against traditional expectations.........right?👀

I dont think social proof works for me. I am a 25 year old virgin who has had a bunch of female friends through my life. However i have never felt what its like to have one that's attracted.

Most people my age have, even if its from a woman thats unattractive, even if it's only a few times.

But me no, I have never felt it my head that a woman is attracted to me. I may never get that feeling.

I wish I can turn off my desires completely because they will probably never get fulfilled

[–]CopingAlive 1 point2 points3 points 2 weeks ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Stop caring dude.

Just ask out people.

[–]KatatonicsnakeMarried European ♀ 2 points3 points4 points 2 weeks ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Most cases I know of are about women recommending a guy to other women, not about that particular friend being attracted to a man. For example, I met my husband at a party, he approached me and I was attracted to me. Social proof was when my oldest friend recommended him. Social proof rarely makes someone attracted to you, if it didn’t already happen.

[–]Lift_and_LurkMan: all pills are dumb 3 points4 points5 points 2 weeks ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Ok but you are basing all this on feelings without ever asking any women? What if your feelings are wrong?

[–]ThatBitchA♀️ My husband takes out the trash🗑 2 points3 points4 points 2 weeks ago (35 children) | Copy Link

I'll never understand the men who expect a one size fits all approach to sex.

The idea that the sex had with Steve should be the exact same (timing, location, moves) as with Trevor.

That sex is some act that is consistently applied to every lover.

It's weird. Idk if it comes from lack of experience, insecurities, porn brain, or all of the above.

[–]PSXSnack09AntiPorn | No Pill Man - Blue Pill fatigue [score hidden] 1 week ago* (26 children) | Copy Link

is simply not romantic to wine and dine some woman who was the casual lay of some guy, get it?

they just dont fit the ideal, not that it matter anyways since we aim for egalitarianism and the abolition of gender roles and we dont attach a big meaning to sex, that includes gender roles and traditional expectations directed at men too........right?

[–]ThatBitchA♀️ My husband takes out the trash🗑 [score hidden] 1 week ago (25 children) | Copy Link

It sounds like someone upset by fan fiction they made up.

[–]PSXSnack09AntiPorn | No Pill Man - Blue Pill fatigue [score hidden] 1 week ago (24 children) | Copy Link

[–]PSXSnack09AntiPorn | No Pill Man - Blue Pill fatigue [score hidden] 1 week ago (18 children) | Copy Link

bothered by the fact you cant refute my statement and you have to resort to ad-hominens instead.

Promiscuous women have never been considered the ideal in traditional romance, rather the opposite, thats a fact, not an opinion, if stating that makes someone "insecure" in your eyes then it says it all about yourself and not the other person, hence why such opinions hold no value 🤷‍♂️

[–]ThatBitchA1 point 1 week ago [recovered] | Copy Link

So.... what does it say about me?

that the call is coming from inside the house :), such opinion actually do comes from insecurity

[–]ThatBitchA1 point 1 week ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Wait, are you suggesting that I'm insecure because "traditional romance" wouldn't want me?

[–]PSXSnack091 point 1 week ago [recovered] | Copy Link

no, im saying that someone who defensively labels other people insecure in a reactive way with no further explanation is indeed a very insecure person :)

Obviously guys dont know what sex acts were done to other partners before them, but the assumption is they aren’t prudes. Timing is what is used to gauge interest because of the unknown assumed “before” period.

[–]ThatBitchA♀️ My husband takes out the trash🗑 1 point2 points3 points 2 weeks ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Again, that makes zero sense to expect the exact same timing. 🙄

I think casual sex with men is over. They are all so bad at having actual casual sex and immediately try to pick boyfriend level fights and ask for boyfriend level attention.

[–]Lift_and_LurkMan: all pills are dumb 1 point2 points3 points 2 weeks ago* (5 children) | Copy Link

Every guy wants casual till it’s the best he ever had. Then he wants her forever.

[–]ta06012022Man 2 points3 points4 points 2 weeks ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Maybe my experience isn't the norm, but some of the best sex I've ever had has been in hookups. I just wasn't ready to settle down forever in college. I think a person usually has to be open to commitment for that to happen, but obviously there are exceptions to every rule.

[–]Lift_and_LurkMan: all pills are dumb 3 points4 points5 points 2 weeks ago (3 children) | Copy Link

I had hookups that lasted long enough for people to catch feelings. If it’s great, they want to do it again. Do great over and over and things organically progress

[–]ta06012022Man 2 points3 points4 points 2 weeks ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Unless you proactively cut it off. If you wait to long, things start to get messy.

[–]Lift_and_LurkMan: all pills are dumb 2 points3 points4 points 2 weeks ago (1 child) | Copy Link

All of the promiscuous women I know have just outright told me...

I would write out their common traits, but I don't actually want any of these dweebs going after that kind of women. But it would be hard to tell off the street. The only thing I would want to say is that there's a lightness to a promiscuous women, like a sparkling wine, that lifts them above the rabble. It's almost aristocratic.

[–]SprayAffectionate321Purple Pill Woman 1 point2 points3 points 2 weeks ago (0 children) | Copy Link

They breathe and they walk.

[–]datboigeorgehennen 1 point2 points3 points 2 weeks ago (0 children) | Copy Link

You honestly can’t. Promiscuous women are kinda a random draw on what they look like. You could tho probably point out promiscuous men from evaluating them on aggression, capacity for violence (do you think they could beat you up, etc).

[–]Lemon_gecko1 point 2 weeks ago [recovered] | Copy Link

If you see a woman walking with her head hanging low - she probably has a lover....

(As this topic was brought up in the today's daily..)

Do you think frequent travelling/going on vacations (as a single person) is correlated with promiscuity and n count? Couldn't find any studies on this but personally I think yes.

[–]AccomplishedDot7092No Pill Man 0 points1 point2 points 2 weeks ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Of course, who doesn't want to get laid with a hot foreigner while they're on vacation?

[–]growframeNo Pill Man 0 points1 point2 points 2 weeks ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Too many variables to make it an independent indicator

[–]TankfarmMurdock 5 points6 points7 points 2 weeks ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I would say only slightly in the sense that someone who’s into frequent travel and international adventures is probably freer and lower inhibition than the average person, which tends to lend itself to hooking up.

[–]ThatBitchA♀️ My husband takes out the trash🗑 1 point2 points3 points 2 weeks ago (0 children) | Copy Link

No. I don't think so.

And I think people who view it that way have never traveled and have a fundamental misunderstanding of sex.

[–]AngeAwareBlue Pill Woman: Sunrise on the Blooping 2 points3 points4 points 2 weeks ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It's not uncommon for women (and men) in my circles to travel while single but usually the purpose is to visit sites significant to our faith. It's expected that married couples be open to pregnancy so if you want to experience traveling without a child (or several) you kind of have to get that done while you're young and single.

[–]Colt_MasterBlue-red 🐎👞 law (Man) 2 points3 points4 points 2 weeks ago (8 children) | Copy Link

If they solo travel then yeah through a fairly direct mechanism. If they travel more socially then probably still yes but would have more to do with personality types and openness to experience and variety rather than necessarily hoeing on vacation

[–]Just_Alternative3167Stacy only 1 point2 points3 points 2 weeks ago (7 children) | Copy Link

>openness to experience

Yeah that's what I thought too, openness to experience is probably consistent across domains: if you enjoy the novelty of exploring new countries, you likely also enjoy meeting new people and yes also new sexual experiences. Not even saying that's a bad trait, openness is linked to higher intelligence too, it's just that correlations exist.

Another (unrelated point) thing is that I vaguely remember some study found that women tend to more promiscuous in unfamiliar social environments, like after moving to a new city when they haven't established a social circle there yet. The reason presumably being that noone recognizes them who could slut-shame them so they can do as they please without judgement.

[–]b_berry458Purple Pill Woman 2 points3 points4 points 2 weeks ago (1 child) | Copy Link

You are so right imo. I totally did take advantage of the fact I wouldn’t get some kind of reputation when travelling and also I was already in ‘fun’ mode when travelling so the reasons overlapped

[–]Just_Alternative3167Stacy only 1 point2 points3 points 2 weeks ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Thank you for your honesty 🙏 And yeah the 'fun mode' is probably another contributing factor

[–]ta06012022Man 2 points3 points4 points 2 weeks ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Yeah that's what I thought too, openness to experience is probably consistent across domains: if you enjoy the novelty of exploring new countries, you likely also enjoy meeting new people and yes also new sexual experiences.

We would need some data to establish that correlation. No reason to just limit it to travel. Some people like the novelty of trying new foods, picking up new hobbies, etc.

I think the stronger correlation with travel is likely income/family income. The people I knew in college who traveled internationally the most were kids who came from affluent families. That was an easy correlation to see. I didn't really see any correlation between the amount of travel and promiscuity.

[–]Just_Alternative3167Stacy only 1 point2 points3 points 2 weeks ago (3 children) | Copy Link

I think openness to new experience (as a general trait) is already a pretty established personality trait in psychology.

It's established that openness to new experience exists. How strongly that correlates with partner count does not seem to be established. We can speculate, but without any data it's sort of pointless.

Like I said, anecdotally the people I've known to travel the most are people with the most money. In my experience, the richest people I know have not been the most promiscuous. In fact, some studies show that people in the lowest income brackets have the highest number of partners. Those people certainly aren't traveling the world.

[–]Just_Alternative3167Stacy only 1 point2 points3 points 2 weeks ago (1 child) | Copy Link

That's a fair but in my experience the correlation between money and travelling is not that strong. For instance, here in Europe you can do completely free and paid-for exchange semesters with partner universities within the EU. They have a reputation for being mostly about partying and other "sinful" activities rather than serious academics. Another cheap option that exists here is work-and-travel. And besides that if you are okay with the backpacker lifestyle and staying at cheap hostels (which many young people are) traveling can be surprsingly cheap. Anecdotally, the rich people I know mostly do expensive family vacations staying at luxury hotels which is not the kind of "adventure-seeking" travel I meant which would lead to promiscuity.

[–]ta06012022Man 2 points3 points4 points 2 weeks ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That's a fair but in my experience the correlation between money and travelling is not that strong. For instance, here in Europe you can do completely free and paid-for exchange semesters with partner universities within the EU.

This is a major difference between the US and Europe. College is very expensive in the US and those exchange programs are a substantial additional cost on top of expensive tuition.

I was grew up middle class but went to a university with a lot of affluent to wealthy students. A lot of them did a semester abroad in Europe and would travel around Europe pretty much every weekend. Those people weren't more promiscuous on average than other people I knew. They just had the money (or family money really) to afford them the opportunity to travel.

I had other friends who took long trips to Europe, Japan, etc. over the summer because their parents bank rolled their lifestyle. Again, these friends weren't typically the most promiscuous. They were just wealthy.

That's not to say an American couldn't conceptually find a way to travel around Europe on a small budget, but overwhelmingly the ones who actually do it, are the ones who have money. It's much more a sign of wealth than a sign of promiscuity.

Hey everyone,

My name is Zac and I am a psychology honours student at Federation University Australia.

I am currently working on a research project looking at how individual personality traits interact with short-form social media feeds (specifically simulating TikTok content exploring modern online subcultures, gender roles, and societal dynamics). Given the active debates in this community, your insights would be very helpful.

Who can participate:
Open to anyone over the age of 18 who is fluent in English.

What’s involved:
A 20-25 minute interactive study where you will complete a few personality measures and watch a simulated 15 video feed.

The Link:
https://federation.syd1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_4ZrUUEJudrbnMJE

Incentive:
It is completely anonymous and voluntary. At the end, you can opt into a draw to win a share of our voucher prize pool (vouchers usable at a store of your choice, vouchers will be in Aud).

Ethics Approval:
Federation University Ethics reference number 2026-108

Happy to answer any broad questions about the methodology here. Also happy to share results for anyone that is interested.

Thanks so much for helping out a student researcher :)

Self control exists.

I agree with that entirely. I’m just saying that on this sub and others people will deploy false dichotomies to shame men who don’t want high n count women by insisting “low n count women don’t like sex”. I don’t understand why people take issue with the sentiment and feel the need to somehow reel these guys into their way of thinking.

I'm not saying no one ever says that, because it's the internet and there's someone out there saying just about everything imaginable, but that's not a common argument.

I've seen it applied more when a man insists on only having a relationship with a virgin. Past a certain age, I think it is fair to question why she's a virgin. It could be because she's deeply religious, which is fine if that's also what the man wants. But it could also be because she's asexual or just has a very low sex drive and has never really felt the urge to have sex. If it's the latter, there's valid reason to be concerned about a potential sex life with her.

Why are straight women reluctant to compete in a new market (for bisexual men)? Is it the notion that they "have" to compete instead of being pursued?

Would you let your boyfriend or husband have sex with OTHER women, while you are in a relationship, until he goes from a virgin/low N-count until he hits your body count to prove virginity holds no worth?

I believe it to be a delusion that there is some ephemeral quality that leads other people to sleep with another in a short time or without attachment or even knowing who they are: it's just stimulation A.T.P.; this means that there should be no difference between doing it after the relationship starts with other women as many times as she did, and, still yet, there is a big hullabaloo regarding cheating. Please help me reason with this thinking.

TL;DR There's a sanctity during a relationship regarding sex, but not before it or to any future or true partner: why? Endeavoring yourself with the same path and knowledge as her is the best way to prove her worth and value as a partner to gain her perspective, isn't it? So, why the restriction?

Real TL;DR Would an open relationship be moral in this situation?

[–]RelativeCondition915Demosthenes the Internet Angel | Woman 2 points3 points4 points 2 weeks ago (1 child) | Copy Link

We would already be in an open relationship, so sure, I guess? But I would also still be open.

If he brought up your exact talking points I would think he was a terminally online lunatic. He appears to want to punish both his intimate partner for her experience and his lack of experience. I have no desire to be punished.

TL;DR There's a sanctity during a relationship regarding sex, but not before it or to any future or true partner: why?

There doesn't have to be.

Generally couples decide to make relationships exclusive. If two people have made an agreement to be in a relationship on the condition that neither sleeps with another person, then it's a betrayal of trust if one or both sleep with other people. It's more a matter of trust than sanctity.

But relationships don't have to be exclusive. Some are open and if a couple chooses to have an open relationship, then it's fine for either of them to sleep with other people. If that's your thing, then by all means go for it.

[–]No-Active5893Red Pill Man 1 point2 points3 points 3 weeks ago (2 children) | Copy Link

So human relationships aren't only be a matter of sanctity, but a series of agreements of trust, passion, moment, and morale?

Human relationships are whatever the people involved mutually define them as.

…have you never been in an exclusive/monogamous relationship with someone? Most normal people intend to sleep only with that person once they’ve been asked to be their boyfriend/girlfriend.

If you want to sleep with other people on top of your partner, you need to communicate that.

[–]Corbast7Blue WOMAN / gen Z old hag / feminist + leftist 4 points5 points6 points 3 weeks ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Having sex and relationships with other people before you met your partner has nothing to do with them. Because you didn’t even know them to be able to choose them.

Usually when anyone really likes someone, they want to lock them down forever in an exclusive relationship. Promising exclusivity to each other is kind of the whole point of monogamy.

[–]No-Active5893Red Pill Man 0 points1 point2 points 3 weeks ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Why would you have sex with someone you have a shallow relationship or are going to break up with?
"Because you didn’t even know them to be able to choose them." You should know them before you are able to choose them: you'll have to date in isolation/watch people date and compare, if you want to progress to marriage, so I don't get it.

"Promising exclusivity to each other is kind of the whole point of monogamy."
I don't get it; you shouldn't have to promise anything if you really like someone; you should always have your future partner in mind and whether they meet the ideal, so you'll never need to breakup or divorce. The fact that they took a detour can't be insignificant: you would need to earn the same perspective to understand why she would take a detour to really understand her as a woman and her value (sex with other women).

[–]saerra_sea_nya 6 points7 points8 points 3 weeks ago (5 children) | Copy Link

So the first thing you’ll need to understand is that when a couple decides to be in a committed relationship, that is when the relationship starts. Once you understand that, you’ll understand why people don’t want the partner they are currently in a committed relationship to sleep with other people.

[–]No-Active5893Red Pill Man 1 point2 points3 points 3 weeks ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Why does commitment in a committed relationship look like not sleeping with other people? Isn't that reversing cause and effect? You shouldn't have to decide or want anything; shouldn't that happen naturally, wanting to stay with one woman? So, what's wrong if I sleep with other women to understand her point of view and understand her value?

Ultimately, I can still commit to her because I followed the same path as her; nothing is different I.M.O..

[–]-nymphobrainiac-Blue Pill Woman 3 points4 points5 points 3 weeks ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Technically, you'd be following the same path as her later than her. To follow her path more closely, you'd have to sleep with multiple women and then find a woman to date.

[–]No-Active5893Red Pill Man 1 point2 points3 points 3 weeks ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Darn it, you got me there. But does the order matter though? Hmmm, it's about intent, right? But, it's possible to control outcomes, you wouldn't give an engagement ring to 10 women you met in a day, but passion is an ephemeral thing.

[–]-nymphobrainiac-Blue Pill Woman 2 points3 points4 points 3 weeks ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Order would matter in this case because you want to understand her perspective better. Her perspective is that past experiences have less impact on current relationships. You'd need them to be in the past to understand.

Someone who engages in casual sex probably puts less meaning on it compared to an engagement ring. The ring is meant to signify commitment, sex can just be pleasure.

Just like there's nothing wrong with a woman preferring a high earner man, but don't get surprised that if you don't live up to that standard yourself people will look down on you for having these demands in a partner.

[–]Able_Donut2654Live fast die young man 2 points3 points4 points 3 weeks ago (9 children) | Copy Link

Not true. Woman demand many things in partner that they don't have themselves. Nobody calls this hypocrisy. It's only when it comes to n counts that women want to fabricate a fake concept that they don't apply to anything else.

[–]SprayAffectionate321Purple Pill Woman 0 points1 point2 points 3 weeks ago (7 children) | Copy Link

And these women are constantly called out of it. "Size queen","height queen","goldigger"...

[–]Able_Donut2654Live fast die young man 1 point2 points3 points 3 weeks ago (6 children) | Copy Link

No they are not.

Are women called out for wanting a confident guy when she is not confident?

Are women called for demanding a guy make the first move when she won't?

Are women called out for wanting a guy who makes her laugh when she doesn't make him laugh?

Are women called out for wanting a man who takes charge when she won't do the same?

Are women called out for wanting an emotionally stable guy when she is not?

I could literally run out the character limit of this post just listing endless examples.

[–]SprayAffectionate321Purple Pill Woman 1 point2 points3 points 3 weeks ago (5 children) | Copy Link

[–]SprayAffectionate321Purple Pill Woman 1 point2 points3 points 3 weeks ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Dude, you have the whole red pill/incel/black pill community that is essentially built on the complaints of men about women that have standards too high but bring very little to the table.

[–]Able_Donut2654Live fast die young man 1 point2 points3 points 3 weeks ago (2 children) | Copy Link

That is not the same thing. We not talking about "standards being too high" or "who brings more to the table". Stop trying to shift the goalposts because you can't defend your original position.

We are talking specifically about "hypocrisy" and "double standards" of demanding a particular trait that you don't have. For example a low n count.

It's not hypocrisy to require something in a dating partner that you don't have since people are looking for someone to compliment them not to be the same as them hence they ask for qualities different from their own.

A man wanting a low n count women while being high n count is no different than a woman wanting a confident man when she is not confident.

[–]SprayAffectionate321Purple Pill Woman 1 point2 points3 points 2 weeks ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Nobody would complain if Scarlett Johansson wanted a tall/rich/confident man. These complaints about women having high standards exist because men don't think these standards are justified, hence the "what do these women bring to the table" talks. It's essentially men complaining about double standards without using the word "hypocrisy" explicitly.

[–]Able_Donut26541 point 2 weeks ago [recovered] | Copy Link

No, again you are trying to shift the goalposts. This conversation is not about who brings more overall to the table. It is specifically about having a preference FOR A SPECIFIC THING that you don't have your self (a low n count)

[–]CopingAlive -1 points0 points1 point 3 weeks ago (14 children) | Copy Link

It's just much easier for women, doesn't make sense comparing it. You can even argue men are actual whores since they put in the work to have hedonistic sex but you can not say that it's the same.

[–]ta06012022Man 1 point2 points3 points 3 weeks ago (2 children) | Copy Link

What about guys who effortlessly find casual sex? Going all the way back to high school, it was never hard for me to find sex. I have a high n count because it was easy for me. I suspect that many men with high n counts find it easy.

[–]CopingAlive 1 point2 points3 points 3 weeks ago (1 child) | Copy Link

You would still reap benefits or disadvantages of how broader society judges that in men and women as that's what shapes individual preferences.

My point was that it's just different.

[–]ta060120221 point 3 weeks ago [recovered] | Copy Link

I guess I don't see it as different. It's really the same.

[–]Corbast7Blue WOMAN / gen Z old hag / feminist + leftist 2 points3 points4 points 3 weeks ago (10 children) | Copy Link

What does it matter that it’s easier for women to find sex partners? Like women are supposed to admire you for it? It’s other struggling men who admire it and are jealous.

A “high” n count is a moralized topic, which is evidenced by the fact that most men and women see it as a negative trait in a partner. It makes sense since most people are not high n. It’d be like a heavy drinker saying they only want to date someone who’s never been drunk; drinking too much is also moralized.

[–]CopingAlive 1 point2 points3 points 3 weeks ago (9 children) | Copy Link

It's just not the same. Men have higher needs for sex and lower accessibility. Women have lower needs and higher accessibility.

[–]Corbast7Blue WOMAN / gen Z old hag / feminist + leftist 4 points5 points6 points 3 weeks ago (8 children) | Copy Link

It’s “not the same” yet most low n women still judge high n men for it. If you “need” lots of casual sex then don’t be surprised if women who see intimacy differently don’t see you as trustworthy.

[–]CopingAlive 1 point2 points3 points 3 weeks ago (7 children) | Copy Link

I don't need lot's of casual sex or any for that matter, it's irresponsible and I'd feel disgusted and guilty partmering up with a low n woman after that plus I'm uncomfortable with partnering with a high n woman.

And i can still acknowledge that it's fucking different in effort between men and women plus the social ramifications.

It's not even different, most men won't care if their wife has 50 women. Most women would care if their bf has slept with 50 men.

[–]Corbast7Blue WOMAN / gen Z old hag / feminist + leftist 2 points3 points4 points 3 weeks ago (6 children) | Copy Link

You’d feel guilty about it yet you’re arguing that “it’s different”? So then clearly it’s not meaningfully different then…

Idk why you keep bringing up “effort” like that’s supposed to mean anything or translate to a different outcome. Men technically have an easier time handling alcohol than women can, does that mean it’s worse to you if a man gets drunk?

It's not even different, most men won't care if their wife has 50 women. Most women would care if their bf has slept with 50 men.

Because sex with women is seen as frivolous and unserious while sex with a man is seen as the opposite. Like taking a dick means you’ve been conquered or something. That seems to be why taking the man’s  last name in marriage is the norm (man conquers/owns the woman). Or also why bi women get assumed to be straight and bi men are assumed to be gay, and just still half in the closet.

[–]CopingAlive1 point 3 weeks ago [recovered] | Copy Link

can, does that mean it’s worse to you if a man gets drunk?

Yes, you get more chances at avoiding that.

Like taking a dick means you’ve been conquered or something. That seems to be why taking the man’s  last name in marriage is the norm (man conquers/owns the woman). Or also why bi women get assumed to be straight and bi men are assumed to be gay, and just still half in the closet.

And that's similar to the reason why it's not fucking same, n count is a social construct and depends on other's perception which in turn shapes individual preferences.

I'd feel guilty and i admit it's irrational.

[–]Corbast72 points 3 weeks ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Yes, you get more chances at avoiding that.

I’ve never heard of men getting drunk as being more stigmatized than a woman getting drunk.

And that's similar to the reason why it's not fucking same, n count is a social construct and depends on other's perception which in turn shapes individual preferences.

It sounds then that the common denominator of that double standard is that it comes from misogyny. If a high n man thinks similar high n women are socially beneath him because he “conquered” the women he slept with rather than the sex being mutual, then that tells you everything you need to know.

Straight up I think a lot of men wouldn’t want casual sex as much if they didn’t view it through that status focused lens.

[–]CopingAlive1 point 3 weeks ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Patriarchy maybe, not specifically misogyny.

Straight up I think a lot of men wouldn’t want casual sex as much if they didn’t view it through that status focused lens.

I find the idea of sleeping with multiple women appealing as in I get aroused thinking of it but I think I want to get married one day more than that and I have a specific special image of it which would be ruined if I have been run through.

Can only speak for myself though.

[–]Corbast72 points 3 weeks ago [recovered] | Copy Link

How is seeing women as objects to be conquered not misogynistic? Seeing consensual sex as something that socially only ruins women shows that women are uniquely not respected as being able to have agency.

Can only speak for myself though.

I don’t agree that sex “ruins” anyone but I can appreciate that you’re not a hypocrite.

[–]CopingAlive1 point 3 weeks ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Sex doesn't ruin anyone but i just think it becomes less intimate and special.

How is seeing women as objects to be conquered not misogynistic ?

Coz it also affects queer men, thus a result of patriarchy(men having power) ather than misogyny( hatred of women) .

[–]RelativeCondition915Demosthenes the Internet Angel | Woman 0 points1 point2 points 2 weeks ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Let's assume the following conditions:

  • you're single

  • you're not religious/waiting for marriage

  • you're in your 20s/30s

  • you have access to hot women for casual sex

Would you refrain just because it might make some hypothetical future partner jealous or insecure or mad?

[–]username_6916Purple Pill Man 0 points1 point2 points 2 weeks ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yes. And I have turned down women in real life for this reason. Not just because I think it would make them jealous or insecure or mad but because I fear it would more directly make me worse husband.

[–]No-Active5893Red Pill Man 1 point2 points3 points 3 weeks ago (8 children) | Copy Link

Yes; Subjugated mentality: why are you wasting your time with petty stimulation instead of doing something grand? You could change "access to hot women" with "drugs, addictions, luxurious items, or cruise trips."

Also, faulty question, who cares if someone is jealous, insecure, or mad? Aren't these just isolated emotions?

"Would you refrain just because it might make some hypothetical future partner jealous or insecure or mad?"

Marriage is about extraction and women also expect you to do such refraining: no dating men, no icks, no weakness, no making below this wage, no emotion, no dawdling, no demands, no being worse than any other man, etc.: everything is aimed towards extraction, serving, and being a better appliance than other men to have serve the best lifestyle possible.

Lemme ask, would you want your hypothetical male partner to refrain from having sex with men or trying it out/fantasizing about it? Would you feel negative or disqualify him if he had such a past?

[–]fiftypoundpuppySpayed Old Maid | Hoet Laureate ♀ 0 points1 point2 points 3 weeks ago (5 children) | Copy Link

There's no such thing as being "demerited for love." Most people aren't compatible with or attracted to most other people for one reason or another. This is the default state of all human beings.

Bisexuality remains irrelevant to n-count.

"There's no such thing as being "demerited for love." Most people aren't compatible with or attracted to most other people for one reason or another. This is the default state of all human beings."

Bisexual men are devalued in the women's market for their attraction to men, so there must be a reason; otherwise, biphobia (market forces) from women wouldn't exist. What's especially explicit, let alone not even dating a man, bisexual men are disqualified for even stating attraction to men.

"Bisexuality remains irrelevant to n-count."

I disagree, women care about men who have male-on-male sex and relationships even if they are bisexual. It's the equivalent of a woman saying to a man, "I had sex with 100 men" to them.
Your choice of words are worthy of note too. Being pedantic, "remains irrelevant to n-count" is a weighty claim when women claim to be so against dating bisexual men who have been "tainted" by men. It's within n-count territory.

[–]fiftypoundpuppySpayed Old Maid | Hoet Laureate ♀ 1 point2 points3 points 3 weeks ago (3 children) | Copy Link
