Many posts have asked the question wether or not losing weight has had an impact on others dating life.

Many said it was night an day, that before they were invisible and now they are on the map. Many others said it didn't change anything other than their health.

My opinion is this. While there are many factors in attraction, physical attractiveness plays a big role. This includes your height, body, face and style (i.e. Haircut, Clothes etc.)

You can't change your height, you can only change your face so far as removing the layers of fat that obscured your natural bone structure. Body can change but having a healthy body is a baseline. Being fat isn't an attractive quality in a man. There is a reason the stereotype of the obese neckbeard exists.

For example. I went from 247 lbs which was a BMI of 34 to now 225 lbs which is a BMI of 30.8.

I used to be 280lbs. I'm 6'.

So i lost almost 60lbs now. It has not changed my dating life at all. If anything people are maybe a bit more friendly than before.

So if anything this just shows that for me, for example, my potential isn't that high when it comes to physical attractiveness.
