These posts are always very misleading. Don't get me wrong, they are excellent for identifying some of the more radical incel type folks at the far end of the red spectrum. However imo the real problem with male entitlement is subconscious.

I would say that most men, rationally understand that they are not entitled to sex. Its not a difficult thing to reason through. Obviously you can't both want your girlfriend to be loyal to you, but also expect every woman to put out for you. It just cannot work like that.

But subconsciously and emotionally... that is a different beast.

What I want to point out though, is that these responses are not rational. They are emotional in nature. People don't rationally feel entitled to sex and they don't rationally respond with anger to rejection. When we post on reddit forums however, we are not typically speaking from an irrational or purely emotional standpoint, so an irrational emotional entitlement might not be reflected by what people type.

NEVERTHELESS, just because an entitlement is emotional or not rooted in our rational minds, does not mean that men cannot recognize it and it does not mean that men shouldn't work on it. We still have a responsibility to recognize entitlement when it rears its head and snuff it out with our rational brains and treat other humans with respect.

There is a very good read about what might be meant when someone says 'things seem to be unfair' without it meaning 'and therefore I am owed at least one sex'.

'Entitlement' is a strawman; it's a way for someone -- when confronted with the ugly realities about fucking awful-yet-somehow-attractive men -- to defuse any kind of debate by suggesting that the person complaining is willing to violate a principle tenet of ethics: bodily autonomy.

Just about NO ONE is unironically in support of state-distributed girlfriends, or free use, or whatever the consequences of support for actual literal 'entitlement' would be. It's beyond ridiculous.

Sigh, no. Assuming that being a man means I should be assigned sex is an alien concept and until I found this forum I'd never come across groups of men that felt this way en masse. I have seen some men say this, but it's far from a default setting for men, and I've also seen women act entitled to sex (I had to end a friendship with one woman. Very literally I told her I saw her as a good friend, and she screamed "You just won't fuck me!" at me. So it's not just men who have this sort of short-sighted attitude.)

However, I think a lot of time, people hear "it SHOULD be given sex" when a dude is just saying "I'd sure like it if someone could just give me sex." Wishful thinking isn't entitled, it's just wishing the world were different in a way that's less difficult.

This is like asking a poor person "Do you believe you're entitled to financial stability?" Because... yeah, most people would love it if somehow, the world was fair and everyone could be happy and financially stable and with a partner that loves them and loves to have sex with them.

This alone is going to immediately result in the perception that males are sexual perverts due to there being entirely different rules for men and women. (The woman squeezing my arm in my office last week is an example - a female privilege, touching other people, - that men know better than to even attempt). What's really going on is the usual "flip the script" routine that feminism is really after (also known as revenge). They want women to 'enjoy" promiscuity while men now need to have their sexual behavior controlled and throttled with social and legal controls. If you simple "want a turn at the top", just say so.

So, now we have consent rules like "continual and ongoing enthusiastic consent" which even females say is excessive and would be a mood killer if it were ever employed. (And to prove you had such an overt display of ongoing consent you'd need to video tape the entire event which is an entirely different set of forms to fill out...) And, for the win, we now have retroactively revocable consent. That's right, the sex she consented to and enjoyed last week is now rape after a lecture from her feminist girlfriends.

No, I don't think men feel entitled to sex. But the list of things females seem entitled to keeps growing and some of the shit they demand is simply fucking ridiculous.

So no, men do not feel entitled to sex. We know sex is a goddamned pain in the ass we have to jump through 100 hoops to get, and if we do it wrong, there are serious repercussions. So relax already ladies. Your biggest danger in the mating arena today is the frustration and heartache you get when the high-value men you lure into bed won't commit to you.

No, I don't think men are owed sex from women. I know that a lot of women seem to believe that this is what men think, but I've never known any man to express such an idea.

I think most people recognize that life is unfair, TANSTAAFL, and so forth. Somehow, most people manage to muddle through just the same. Of course, a lot of people might still complain if they feel they got the short end of the stick. That's perfectly normal, but it wouldn't necessarily indicate some ulterior motive or that anyone feels "entitled" to anything.

I think those men who are angry and bitter aren't necessarily thinking they're entitled to sex, as much as they might want to know why. They want to know what makes women tick. What processes took place inside her brain that caused her to choose one man over another? That's why they might gravitate towards the red pill, since they can't seem to get any straight answers anywhere else.

Only in this context, only when it comes to miss moral and only as long as the relationship exists I can say I am owed sex. And even in this situation I would rather not phrase it nor think about it that way.

As for myself, of course I'm going to say that I do not think I am entitled to sex. There is a strong, common belief (primarily among women) that men of the manosphere/pillosphere believe that they're entitled to sex and that's why they're so angry and bitter.

I've actually never really seen men say this. Maybe some incels wishing they could get laid and mad at Chad. But owed sex? I have seen a ton of propaganda claiming that though. It depends on how you define entitled: is it some unalienable right that can be enforced by law? Then generally no. Or is it something that you can reasonably expect to get in a particular situation, and if you don't get it, something is wrong? That's different.

Also: Do you mean in general, just by virtue of being a man? That's some particularly vile strawman concocted mostly by feminists (and their lapdops), but has little to do with reality apart from a few unhinged individuals.

When in a relationship? That's trickier. I would say that even when in a relationship you aren't entitled to sex in the sense that you can reasonably expect to have your desires met all the time to their fullest extent by your partner (if you don't have a supremely eager SO, that's more akin to slavery), but what does exist is a mutual obligation. Sure, you can't force your partner to want sex, but if we're dealing with a relationship situation where one partner generally desires sex and the other consistently refuses to have it, I would argue that the second party is in the wrong (unless it was made abundantly clear from the start that the ground rules of the relationship didn't involve coitus).

There are two questions that need to be answered here: Are men entitled to sex, and is that entitlement the reason for the bitterness? I'm going to try to give a perspective on this that will answer both at once.

The bitterness does come from a sense of entitlement, but not in a way that I will say is entirely unfair, or even that delusional. Few to no men believe that women should be assigned to them by some kind of government charity. If you were to get a honest and fully aware answer from a bitter incel as to why their lack of love makes them bitter, it would be something like "I've liked God knows how many girls in my time, and zero of them have liked me back. Surely at least one girl has to be into me!"

Most young men grow up with a poor self awareness of their own value, combined with a poor understanding about how much pickier women are than men. They're not aware that they have a handful of traits that wouldn't even slightly effect the attractiveness of a women, but are complete deal breakers for men.

So, to sum it up a little more directly. Most men feel entitled to intimacy, because they think they have fulfilled all the things they need to get that intimacy. Even those that get sex still feel entitled, they just have that entitlement met.

Of course, that doesn't mean they actually are entitled. No one really is, but that's how most men feel, including myself if I'm being honest.

Forget sex for a minute, think about someone being "entitled to a promotion". I don't think sitting at my desk for 2 years adding minimum value means I deserve a promotion by virtue of time spent at the job. But if I put in extra work, taking on management responsibilities and won new clients for the business, I definitely would feel entitled to a promotion in the next performance cycle.

When it comes to dating and relationships, some guys who do put in the effort, go over and above on their date experiences, spend a lot of money, brand new wardrobe and spending a lot of time on their appearance, by all means have a great series of dates with a woman who did no more than show up for the ride, and at the end of a few weeks of paying for everything and having great dates, ya, he's gonna be entitled to sex. At that point if youre the woman and you're not putting out you gotta ask what is she even dating for.
