The reason women hate porn is because it stops the release of vasopresin in males causing them to be less willing to interact socially and also commit in relationships.

Vasopressin in males leads to pro-social  behaviors, and  males with high vasopresin levels are shown to be more cooperative and willing to commit (emotionally, financially etc) to woman.

Vasopresin increases (noticeably) when sexually aroused and drops back after sex.

So the ideal strat for women is to edge their mate and increase his vasopresin levels until he is willing to commit. (Ie. No sex till marriage).

There is also the twitch/ e-girl strat. That works on the same principle. You edge your audience (easy they do that for you ) until their vasopresin levels are so high that they become simps and willingly commit (time, money etc.)to you.( i.e be hot).

In male voles vasopresin levels was the predicting factor for if males displayed monogamous behaviors or not.

This is why women object to porn  and prostitutes. It's not (as I thought) mainly driven by moral reasons. As some of them partake, and they don't have negative views twoards sex workers.

Its why they make "husband material" wait. Increase vasopresin, increase commitment/provisioning.

Of course  there is a third (harder) strat. Be kind, friendly, have shared values. So that you are generally increasing his serotonin and oxytocin with each interaction so he actually likes you.

But they suck too much to do the last strat (more on this latter) and are not Stacy enough for the second so they mainly rely on the first strat. And hate porn b/c it fucks up this strategy.

So a lot of people responding are getting distracted. My personal stance; porn is bad and there are ethical/moral problems with the industry. But women should and do have the agency to be sex workers. My personal qualms aside.
