It may be my opinion, but I worry this attracts a certain type of woman who doesn't bode well with longevity. Possibly one that is interested in game playing rather than connection. Being needy is one thing, and I agree it can be a determinant. But being genuine is another thing that is hard to convey. I would edit this to say that young humans are driven more by emotion/hormones than logic compared to older humans. Congrats on taking action and identifying your needyness and working on it. I think being needy is what destroys guy's chances with women when dating. So you were able to take the first step and stop being needy and moved on to... being needy on a smaller scale lol.

The way I see it all of the actions you took came from a place to try and "push" her away. It was still about her. It's a step forward but there is still a long way to go. As you gain more experience you will figure out that pushing people away on purpose won't work on the long run.

This is the only part I don't agree completely.

You can tell a woman you like her or would date her. With this info you give her hope. But as you said, be unpredictable. Don't chase her. You can tell her this and then pull out, make her wonder why you're not making a move on her or paying attention to her after saying such a bold thing. Casually telling her this will make you look certain and secure, but not pulling any moves on her will make her think you have other options or you're not her priority.

I've done this before and overall I have not seen major repercutions about it. One girl that I dated decided that she needed space for a month after I dropped a bomb like that on her with no real warning. I made sure that she knew I kept going out and had good times with other girls and some friends by posting it on socialmedia since I knew she would be stalking me. She ended up hitting me up to meet me (solo, just the two of us) and we dated for 4 months. Most of the rest of our nightouts were just the two of us.

Some women just stay quiet and freeze or deviate the topic when I bring it up. Just make sure to chuckle and follow her along by not talking about it again until she decides to bring it up by herself. She will usually bring it up by herself if she really likes you and shes not shy enough. Shy girls are a whole different topic, but this comment is already too long.
