I believe that the reason why younger kids balk at using the services of a professional, have much to do with believing that if you have to pay for it, it means you can't get it for free. What they, and I count myself in that they, fail to understand is that you pay for it even when you think you don't. My last wife was costing me a fortune.

I don't get alleged straight men talking about how they want validation. Since OP mentioned George Michael, we can look at MSM/gay male sexual behavior. Some gay men (like George Michaels) have random sex with strangers in gay bars, bathhouses, public washrooms (like GM), public parks, hotels, guys they meet online, and, of course, male hookers as well. I've personally never hired a prostitute, but I've heard that once a guy exercises that option, it can be hard to quit. Which is a huge problem if that guy intends to ever return to a "normal" sex life where he's having monogamous sex within the confines of a relationship. Or any such situation where the sex is supposed to mean something emotionally. He might end up being too sexually jaded to enjoy it. Chances are good that the woman he has a relationship with isn't going to be able to compete with the whores the guy banged before he met her.

Now, I would never try to claim that this is exactly the same, but I think you could draw some similarities between professional hookers and pornography, in terms of their unforeseen consequences. Plenty of guys turn to porn when they're going through dry spells as a quick and easy way to get off without needing a partner. But then eventually they fall victim to the endless novelty and jerk themselves off into some kind of sexually autistic stupor. To the point where it gives them erectile dysfunction and they can't even get hard the next time they do have a real girl in bed with them.

A guy who relies on professional hookers to get him through a dry spell, or whatever the case may be, is tempting fate in the same way. And I think a lot of guys don't want to take that risk because they can't be sure they'll come out the other side with their sexual identities intact. Once you've opened yourself up to effortless climaxes at your beck and call with damn near unlimited novelty, there may be no going back. "Real" sex, even with someone you care about, will never live up to the sexual dragon you decided to chase when you hired that first escort.

As someone who’s diametrically opposed to hookup culture, paid sex is a great idea in that, because it’s a business that presumably markets to a particular niche, it’s able to satisfy demand for casual sex without promoting it. Every guy who just up’n pays for it is one less guy out philandering and feeding into the idea that people should be having sex casually because that’s what the other person expects.

I'm worried about the problem of misogyny though. Red pill men already have a problem with women, and a lot of women in that line of work steal.
