When my Aunt "separated" from her husband/boyfriend she moved my infant cousin out of state, as far as i know she's never met her father. When my own parents divorced mom eventually "disappeared" me to the next town over and dad spent a week or two in complete misery because he'd seen what happened to my relatives and had no way of knowing where i was, that it was possible i was several states away by that point.

God DAMN i don't like thinking about those years..

Myself and my ex split a few weeks ago. She told me to take my daughter or she was gonna leave her at the police station so I did, set up daycare and we were set. Four days in after she realizes I didn't have to quit my job and go assed out with a kid called the cops and said I kidnapped her. now we have restraining orders on each other and I have no means of finding out where she is cause that's third party and I'll go to jail. I can't even look at a picture of my daughter without wanting to kill myself

Yep my ex went to Japan on a holiday (to cool down, look after her mental health and be with family after getting a conviction for trying to kill me... I quite generously allowed her to take our daughter because my ex-wife struggled with mental health issues and even after she got convicted, I was still concerned about her welfare + didn’t wanna use her mental instability as a reason to block access to family/culture).

She never came home. Instead, she went into hiding, married some random Japanese guy within 3 months (who moved across the country), put her new husband as the ‘adoptive father’ of our child and blocked all access. They then told her I didn’t exist and pilled her up with ADHD meds because she was ‘angry’ and ‘delusional’ following these circumstances.

$30,000 in legal fees (and 5 years of mediation/hearings) later the Japanese courts have established that yes... our child was abducted and yes... the ‘parents’ lied to her. However, she has been living with them in Japan for 5 years, so me getting custody would be a disruption to the status quo. Also, I could have no access to her medical records or say in whether she should continue to be pilled up with strong ADHD meds that make her goggle-eyed.

Instead, I get 3 days of access a year. During this access, my ex-wife’s husband is present (intentionally making it all tense/awkward + policing what she says to me), all presents are thrown in the bin and there’s not a lot I can do about it.

This is more a childrens rights issue than a mens/womens rights issue. I hope feminists keep their grubby fingers off it and don’t try to re-write the story so that they are ALWAYS the victims. Anecdotally, women seem to be the most common abductors and alienators.

Years later I was able to find my son and after expensive lawyer fees and 3 years I have my son full time, I still have to pay child support for him. My daughter is an other battle I'm just starting. I can't do this.

I have a [family member] who was attacked by his wife one day, then a few months later she drops that she wants a divorce. Her mom comes to stay with them. The two of them hanged up on him, multiple times, and would keep his son from him.

The cops were called multiple times, and on one occasion the cop said told [family member’s] wife that if she wanted to go to the safe house because she “thought he would get violent” then she would have to leave their son home with him so the kid could sleep in his own bed. Suddenly she felt safe and said “if he stays I stay.”

The next day [family member] told his MIL that if he wanted, he could ask her to leave. That day his wife and MIL ghost him and take the child with them, long past his bed time.

I’m over there playing MtG with [family member] waiting for his wife to get home when the boys from county show up to serve him a CPO for his wife, MIL, and son.

He was kicked out of his own home and kept from his son for weeks. On the court date, she lied and said her lawyer “couldn’t make it” (he never filed an appearance) then insisted that the order be extended for a week “until her lawyer was available” judge said he would extend it if she gave [f m] 3hrs of visitation daily.

She threw a fit and said no. Had to repeal her CPO because it was full of lies anyway.

When all was said and done (I left some stuff out) it had been around a month that [f m] had been kept from son.

All he ever talked about in that time was how much he missed his kid and how the boy didn’t deserve to have this happen to him. Since regular visitations have started things have got better but what I’m trying to say is: this is a case where men get rawdogged far too often.

Just talk to the divorce lawyer and ask him what can you expect as a guy. I have visited one in my home country and I have talked to my co-workers who went through that shit in Germany. It is a horror.

The most fucked-up story came from a guy I used to work with. His wife left him and their daughter. He still had to pay her a big sum of money! How is that fucking fair and what has the justice system come to?

From everything displayed, the intention of feminism is not to be equal. It is to dominate and they have already achieved that.
