I’m intrigued by what the outcome of this will be - there seems to be a lot of pushback against the expectation of men to be providers.

However, a lot of men love bringing up our biological roots and traditional values - which for men has typically been to protect and provide.

So for those who want to marry and have children - what will your ideal financial situation be?

Will you go for the traditional model of being a breadwinner, or will you expect your partner to resume work after maternity leave and financially contribute 50-50 towards rent, bills etc

For those who prefer the latter option - will you then be contributing 50-50 towards childcare, night feedings, household duties? Or you could outsource and hire a cleaner a couple days a week, a nanny now and then etc.

I am in a LTR but i don’t plan to have children so I really don’t have a dog in this fight, just intrigued.
