This seems like a really interesting piece for this sub. I am most intrigued by the fact it measured sex based on frequency as opposed to lifetime partners. With lifetime partners, it doesn't give a good idea of how men and women differ because you can acquire partners in different years at different rates, and probably forget some of them lol.

But this study actually does show that there is some non-negligible portion of women (10-11%) that are sharing the same man with other women. Since 82% of women have had sex in the past year, but only 72% of men have, some portion of those 82% women have had to have slept with a man who's already slept with some other woman in the same year, as there are 10-11% too few men for all women to have a monogamous partner.

Although I disagree with the red pill on a lot of points, this study does play in their favor, with giving some concrete evidence to things like the CC or the alpha / beta split.
