I am on mobile so I'm going to mostly be rehashing what I've already written.

In this post I went over how the interaction between male/female attraction dynamics and new technology has dramatically increased sexual inequality.

Tinder is great once you're beyond a relatively high threshold of attractiveness as a guy (top %80). Having moved past that threshold and clearly seen both sides of the coin first hand has really fucked up my view on female attraction :/. It makes me think that the choice and easy access afforded to us by tech is becoming an awful thing on a social level and is at least partially responsible for stuff like the red pill.

According to this analysis a man of average attractiveness can only expect to be liked by slightly less than 1% of females (0.87%).

Unlike I thought, 240 of the 300 girls actually had sex through tinder! Only less than 50 of the 300 men, which is remarkable.

Men, you're ugly. -Women. 80 percent of men are below average in looks according to women, 58 percent "are brain damaged", - Datacylsm. Sample size, half the single people in the US, includes okcupid, Tinder, Match, others.

In this post I discuss how I think rising sexual inequality is likely fueling all kinds of social ills, and will potentially lead to more extremist politics and violent society.

I agree. As someone who's seen both sides of the coin it's very hard to understate the level of sexual inequality between men, which is something that most women are totally oblivious to. Most women also abhor the concept of alpha/beta, and while I agree the terms are kind of crude, there is no doubt that male sexuality exists in a very competitive class heirarchy. I think it reflects our evolutionary roots, and you can't really blame anyone because nobody chooses what they are wired to be attracted to. It doesn't help that men are wired to crave sex like a tweaker craves a fix.

It's given me a better understanding of social mores I previously thought were absurd. I'm naturally socially liberal, and from the perspective of an individual I saw conservative concerns about monogamy, commitment, sexual restrictiveness, family, and religion to be outdated meaningless relics of a backwards age. Now I see them as a valuable social evolution across history in response to the incredible stress that sexual inequality places on a society.

Considered the most comprehensive study of polygamy and the institution of marriage, the study finds significantly higher levels rape, kidnapping, murder, assault, robbery and fraud in polygynous cultures. According to Henrich and his research team, which included Profs. Robert Boyd (UCLA) and Peter Richerson (UC Davis), these crimes are caused primarily by pools of unmarried men, which result when other men take multiple wives.

"The scarcity of marriageable women in polygamous cultures increases competition among men for the remaining unmarried women," says Henrich, adding that polygamy was outlawed in 1963 in Nepal, 1955 in India (partially), 1953 in China and 1880 in Japan. The greater competition increases the likelihood men in polygamous communities will resort to criminal behavior to gain resources and women, he says.

According to Henrich, monogamy's main cultural evolutionary advantage over polygyny is the more egalitarian distribution of women, which reduces male competition and social problems. By shifting male efforts from seeking wives to paternal investment, institutionalized monogamy increases long-term planning, economic productivity, savings and child investment, the study finds. Monogamy's institutionalization has been assisted by its incorporation by religions, such as Christianity.

I think as these social mores break down we are in for a world of hurt. I see not only the rise of the Red Pill as partially being in response to this rise of sexual inequality, but also the rise of Donald Trump to a lesser degree.

Plenty of girls and lucky men might laugh at the 'fragile egos' of emasculated men who express their anger through toxic online echo chambers and extreme politics, but those people are totally oblivious to the intense bitterness and loneliness and powerlessness those men experience before they give in to hate and anger. They have been left behind by a new social structure that no longer needs or wants them, economically or sexually. I am just lucky enough to be born decently handsome and with a good head on my shoulders or it is possible I would be one of them.

The more I reflect on it, the more I realize this social shift has a much larger impact on society than is commonly realized.

TLDR: Lots of men without potential mates = fucked up society and politics.

My questions:

It's long been known that economic disparity fuels crime, poverty, distrust in institutions and a resulting rise in authoritarian tendencies. Do you think the same could potentially be true of sexual disparity?

What factors do you think drive sexual inequality?

Are women actually as completely oblivious to this trend as they seem?

Would feminism touch this with a 10 foot pole?

How do you see the future of sexual relations between men and women?
