More men are overweight and there are only 5% more obese men than women (35-40) in the US.

So first thing men would need to do is step up their own game too.

Now my wife knows I'd leave her if she got obese, since thats completely controllable (if someone wants to argue differently, please don't try, I'll destroy them on it and they will feel bad about being fat), but thats just me, I find fat women unfuckable.

I have a friend whos a chubby chaser and thinks my wife is too thin.

We all have our thing. You can't force men to change what works for them.

The manosphere is straight up tone deaf to reality. Their either cant grasp or refuse to accept that in the west women don’t actually need men anymore. We live in relative comfort and safety, we support ourselves, have kids on our own and raise them, get our social and emotional needs met through friendships. We don’t need men. But many if us want men. The latter is a scary proposition for a lot of these guys. Need is definitive and controllable, want is fleeting and full of expectations. Scarier for men who even themselves deep down know they don’t offer a whole lot. Hence all the whining about how picky women are and how women ignore/aren’t attracted to 80% of men. They just can’t seem to want to even try to make the shift to being needed vs wanted.

Inb4 “you wouldn't have roads to drive or smartphones if it wasn’t for men.” Nah. We’d figure it out without you.

Tl;dr this answer is not “we should force women to be skinny” or “force men to refuse to date fat women.” The issue is you (collective) can’t attract the thin women you want. The answer is you should do the work to get what you want or accept your reality.

I say this a public health professional would love to see everyone in America a healthy weight. It’s not going to happen. What’s also not going to happen is you finding shortcuts to figuring out how to be attractive yourselves. There’s some mind fucking irony going on here.

If you want to discourage obesity just look at Western countries with low obesity rates and emulate them. Lots of reasons why this is an especially American problem.

Thought experiments are cool but there still should be some ground for them, even hypothetical. A whole gender won't and can't act collectively, even theoretically.

So if somehow it could happen the society or even human nature would be so different that making any assumptions shall be pointless.

After the women slim down, the next generation’s underclass of women that men will find equally as disgusting as fat women were found in yesteryear will probably be based on genetic traits.

The solution is clear: Eradicate and bring back obesity in cycles, so that men grow up in a world where they find slim women attractive, then the great slimmening happens and everyone’s happy until the next generation is out, then we create the fat underclass again, repeat.

See this where I'm struggling. My boyfriend loves skinny healthy girls. Which is okay, but I'm overweight and not his general type that he adores all the time. My weight has been up and down alot in the past 3 years of our relationship. When we met I was bigger and then lost about 40 pounds. We broke up for a little then I gained some and lost a lot of it off. In almost 2 years I went from 207 to 156. Was starting to look good. And we were back together. This year was the worse year for weight gain. I failed out of basic training for not being able to pt, and since I got home I put on some noticable weight. I'm trying to get off now, so I can go back, but it's a lot harder.

I feel bad I'm not all that I can be for him. But in the end I am trying and doing what I can to look better.
