I would never date someone who I knew had seen a prostitute. Even in many countries where it's regulated people are trafficked in to meet demand since most citizens won't turn to that sort of work unless they're poor or desperate, and even when the prostitutes aren't actively forced the thought of someone willingly fucking a person who would rather be anywhere but there disgusts me.

It's time to debunk some popular myths about sex work. Prostitution isn't a victimless crime, most prostitutes are being exploited. This isn't limited to America were it's mostly illegal. In countries with legalized prostitution, most of the sex workers are exploited, or victims of sex trafficking. This includes the brothels in Amsterdam. Where they discovered that most of the women were brought in by sex traffickers.

I've spent some time on the relationship, and -cel subreddits. My time has lead me to the following observation. Male, or female, hetero, or LGBTQ. If you can't find someone to date, or fuck you. Then the problem is your personality. Think of it this way. Most of the ugly people on Earth, are in a stable relationship. If you figure out what the personality problem is, then you won't have to pay for sex.

Personally I haven't used the services of prostitutes - back then I had a deep revulsion towards the dynamics behind the trade that I was fundamentally opposed to it; but I also always had (and still have) the desire that the women I am sleeping with should be into me and not see it as a transaction.

BUT I know one thing: Had I been the type for whom visiting a professional would have helped in some way, like getting it out of my system and ultimately developing a less neurotic approach to that issue, in hindsight I would have done it - it would have saved me quite a lot of time and frustration.
