Many men admit to not properly taking care of themselves or grooming to the best of their abilities in fear of being called “gay” by other men. While it is a stupid judgment, I find it even worse that something like that could seriously stop people from taking care themselves. At younger and younger ages men are facing damage to their faces, hair, bodies, etc but see no problem with it. It’s painful to go out everyday and see heavy wrinkles and disproportionate body fat on the large amount of men who haven’t hit their thirties yet, just because they refuse to use proper skincare and eat well in fear of what others might say. Women are just as visual as men, but when we give health/grooming/beauty tips that would make them appealing, its simply dismissed and scoffed at. I find it hard to believe that they WANT to look bad, but why is nothing being done when this is pointed out? Skin care products, exercise, and healthy foods are not gender based so there is really no excuse as to why they refuse help, and I’m so confused.
