A lot of the animosity from incels seems to come from them being rejected by girls that they idolize when they are young. They put women on a pedestal before ever really knowing them and become very concerned about what a particular woman thinks about them. This often results in them getting heartbroken when a woman doesn't reciprocate their interest. They are taught this behavior through their parents and media that say this is how love and relationships work.

Fuckboys take the opposite approach. They see a cute girl who they don't know much about and flirt with her, playing up her urge to be desired. If she rejects him, no big deal, she is just another woman in a sea of them. If she is receptive towards him, he gets what he wants and keeps her around until she starts being more trouble than she's worth. Then he moves onto the next girl. He will only commit if he finds the perfect woman but still gets to have sex in the meantime.

So my question is: Should we be teaching young boys to pursue sex with girls they like and to wait on making a decision on commitment until much later?

Because the way it is now, "good guys" end up getting hurt way to easily and they also avoid casual sex because they don't want to pursue a woman without being sure she is commitment material (for fear of breaking the woman's heart). There really is no room for guys who sit back and worry about what women think about him in this current world. Basically it's just a way of protecting young boys from themselves because of how easy it is to pedestalize girls at an early age. A larger portion of them will be more sexually successful than they are now, and then they can decide afterwards if a woman is relationship material based on values and her personality.
