Anyone who says ugly men have it worst are disillusioned. Other men don't shun ugly men for their ugliness. There are many confident ugly men leading good lives. Some people should come out and start socializing instead of being weirdos and see the truth. There are many examples of ugly men near us who are doing very well.

Ugly women have it worst. They are judged severely and no other characteristics override their looks. And ugly women of color have it worst. They don't progress much in their careers. Their social life suck. They have a friend circle who uses them to feel good in comparison. They will be lucky to end with partners who truly love them.

Attractive men have the threat of physical violence so they can't just go around assaulting people the way women do. Attractive men get sexually assaulted by women with little to no consequences whereas if an attractive woman so much as gets bumped on the ass in public there are severe consequences. Attractive men have to work for a living whereas attractive women can opt out. Attractive men have to protect themselves but attractive women have an abundance of protection.

Now let's talk about average women, specifically in the US. On average, they are 170lbs and 5'4" tall. That's obese. Does being obese make life harder? You tell me. I wouldn't know. I'm an average US man. I weigh as much as an average woman and I'm 6' tall. I can reach my ass to wipe it. I don't have to contend with diabetes. I can walk several miles, run, jump on a trampoline, find clothing easily, fit in a normal wheelchair and desk chair, etc. I have all of the same disadvantages that an attractive man has with none of the perks. An average woman has all of the perks an attractive woman has that I mentioned above. If she lost weight she'd have 50% of single men offering her the same thing the attractive woman gets offered.

I'll go ahead and agree on the ugly people. They have it hardest. So the list looks like this:

That's for a gynocentric society like the US with feminazis on every corner, body positivity, cancel culture, #metoo, etc.

Here's the list according to me:

Attractive man (20%) and Attractive woman (20%)
Average woman (60%) and Sightly above average man (20%)
Ugly woman (20%) and Average man (40%)

You already see this hierarchy in highschool. Attractive folks date each others. Average women don't have enough suitable partners and therefore go date older guys. Ugly women befriend average men and date them because they're kicked out of the female social matrix. Ugly men aren't allowed near women at all, get bullied by average and sightly above average men for trying, and are ostracized by women.

Though, I'd say this hierarchy isn't solely physical attractiveness but also social ineptitude but it often go by pair.

I think the problem arises when men on here wrongly assume that the attractive women they're seeing on social media and discussed in online spaces are the "average woman."

I think your problem is, like most people, overestimate women's attractiveness and underestimate men's. Many women on social media are just sightly above average and try to pretend they're part of the elite 20%.

Women typically don't know what the average man is because they can't see the last group of 20% ugliest men, and barely get to hear about the average men anyway. Men have been shown to be able to accurately rate female population's attractiveness.

Going with the career route is too slow for something as petty as this sub aims for.
