Small victory! Bought a lot of new furniture in the last couple weeks to make my room feel like home. Well, this furniture needed to be built. At first I was thinking about who to call - maybe a neighbor, maybe male acquaintance. Then it hit me.

I can do this myself

And so I did. I spent two hours assembling all the parts, tightening the screws and even figured out how to rebuild this fan I had which was taken apart in the process of moving. It works just fine!

All the "manly job" that I did in my life was so goddamn easy to figure out and actually do. All of it feels so rewarding, while doing the dishes, cleaning, washing clothes are so much harder.

Ladies, you all are hella smart, strong and creative. If a man can do it - you can totally do it too!
