Okay ladies. I was curious, so I watched the video. She did not get chlamydia while in an open relationship. Rather in what she thought was a committed monogamous one. So dare I say she was the victim of a LVM, and this Chlamydia video opening up about it would actually be positively reviewed in this subreddit were it not for the misleading placement of the two videos next to each other.
I have never heard of this woman before now and probably wouldn’t advocate for everything she does, but uninformed shaming of women we don’t know doesn’t seem like a good way to go. I say this with love.

my ex became physically abusive when i refused to become his nest partner. he started by wanting 3somes, then he wanted the first girl we hooked up with to be 'our girlfriend', then finally he basically demanded that i let him go have (violent) sex with her without me at all bc she "liked" being hit during sex and apparently he enjoyed hitting which i had no idea about bc we had never had sex like that. i was fucking so disturbed and upset that i couldn't bring myself to have sex with him anymore and so he cheated on me with my (former) best friend, confessed to me immediately and then when i started packing my shit to leave he tortured me physically including with sexual assault

I was watching a show on Animal Planet the other day (My Cat from Hell) and there was a couple on there that lived together but described themselves as having been "dating for 14 years." Like wtf does that mean? Dating is the getting to know each other and determining compatibility phase. 14 years?? Sorry for the tangent, it just blew my mind.

I think that's spot on. One thing that's fascinating about that show is the number of people who get engaged and/or move in together when one of them (usually the man) hates the cat(s). I won't consider dating anyone that doesn't like dogs. My bf loves my dog like she was his own and she loves him right back.

I wouldn't, either. I have four cats, and my partner damn sure had to love each and every one of them for me to be with him.
You also have to pay attention to the way the pet acts around the person. My best friend had a wonderful little cat named Yoshi. At one point Yoshi started acting withdrawn, wouldn't eat, started pooping blood. She was afraid it was illness, that she'd have to eventually put him down.
Then one night when she woke up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, she overheard her live-in boyfriend drunkenly admit to his friends that he regularly hit and beat the cat. He hated the cat because my friend loved the cat so much. It was insane.
this was a long time ago and admittedly were during both of our PickMe days, but thank goodness, she left him. He should be rotting in prison, but he isn't.

Is the attention real or wag-the-dog stuff? I edited a publication for an embattled environmental cause for 12 years and can attest that 90% of the flak and backlash we got was canned. It all came from paid trolls and shills whose "popularity" was entirely conjured and fabricated. It's a standard spin model. B/vloggers and influencers commonly hire click mills or their sponsors do. There's a lot of stealth commercial sponsorship of the Pickme kinkmeisha sex-work-is-work message right now, probably related to cross investment in porn and online dating websites or, in the case of the fascist Murdoch empire, a recognition that a way to collapse the left is to promote porn addiction (a la Orwell) and push hipsters to destructive extremes that "undermine family," etc.
Meanwhile, public disapproval of adultery/infidelity is at an all time high according to Gallup. The NY Times tried to spin the poll results as evidence of an evangelical blight. But the same people polled expressed support for gay marriage so it seems more likely that cheating is simply increasingly categorized as ab.use. I strongly suspect the spin is a commercial attempt to "correct" wayward public views.

Funny! I was thinking yesterday of Shanon and what you guys think of her. Ever since I want to level up, I'm evacuating the content I watched and Shan is someone who doesn't align with the woman I want to be. (The only regret I have is I bought her book 🤣).
