Honest question, So this a thing? Grown ass men sharing/downloading photos of random naked women they want to have sex with? I’ve never heard of this. I remember teenage guys doing this but I thought it was something folks grow out of, seems very immature and gross.

EDIT: omg 😳 looking at all these replies confirming that this is a thing makes feel sick. Maybe I need a break from this site. I’m 33 and thought I’ve seen/heard it all til I look on here and there’s a new depravity that I’m educated on everyday.

Excellent response! I’m curious how many upvotes he got? I find when a man expresses an opinion that embodies FDS ideals, people are more open to it and at the very least give it some consideration. If one of us were to post the same response, we’d receive an onslaught of ridicule claiming that it’s unreasonable, etc. Then one look at our comment history in FDS would be the final nail in the coffin because, you know, we’re apparently a hate group lol. 💁‍♀️

A very good response from that man. I hope OP actually stopped dating the guy because based on what she said she clearly doesn’t match his true preference. That can really eat at your self esteem it’s not worth it. I’ve seen many BW go through something like this with colorist men and it’s a shame. Ironically I experienced this kind of behaviour more with BM as a teen where they make you feel like them choosing you is an honor since no other race of man would want you plus he has other ‘options’ and it’s pretty degrading. I’m open to all races now in my 20s so I’ve experienced this a lot less which is a relief...

I personally don’t believe its bad for people to have preferences but the problem is men will go after a woman who isn’t their “type” and constantly neg her by keeping her in imaginary competition with other women. I think if someone has a preference they need to stick to it and not drag women down in the mean time.

When I confronted him about it, trying to explain how by doing that he becomes a part of the problem the women are dealing with every single day of our lives, he turned that into my jelaousy, and me not being comfortable that there are other women willing to share their bodies with every man on IG.

There is only one "type" that men with personality disorders prefer: whatever is different than the woman they're committed to. And if they go with that type later, their preference will switch to something else until they come full circle.

That's not to negate the role of racism and misogyny in forming preferences. That's a given. Fetishes in themselves are based in hateful stereotypes. But quite often these guys are demented beyond this.

It's an attachment disorder issue. By saying attachment disorder, I'm not making a case to pity them. Batterers and serial killers are universally attachment disordered.

These men aren’t really after looks or esthetics. They keep moving goalposts to keep their gfs insecure, heavily influenced by what’s trending with little to no personal taste. People who really appreciate esthetics don’t neg people, they see the beauty of imperfections and seek esthetics in art, fashion, etc.
