You do not need to communicate your standards, just simply leave/block and delete if he does not meet them. We do not teach men how to be our man and we certainly do not tell them what we expect - that just gives them ammo on how to play the next woman. If he wanted to, he would. This guy clearly doesn’t.

some things that are specific to me: 1) PATIENCE. im an annoying person, i know. someone who wants to be with me would have to put up with how generally exasperating i can be, just as im sure i’d have to put up with their faults as well. im also late to everything so they would have to be cool with waiting on me. 2) communication. i just CANT be with someone who shuts down when they’re stressed or angry. and im someone who routinely has to take breaks from conversations to calm myself down or organize my thoughts, but i COMMUNICATE that. i dont just stop answering my phone for 3 days or walk away mid conversation. 3) consistency. dont go all out on the first date trying to woo me out of my panties, then two months in your idea of a date is pizza at the house. gross. and dont text me good morning every morning if you know you’re really the kind of person who’s fine with going days without talking to their SO. 4) masculinity. if you cant provide for me in the traditional sense, then you cant be with me. im VERY old fashioned and i dont care who doesnt like it!

These are the standards that caused an OLD scrote to DM me specifically to tell me I was going to die alone:

Adequately employed or otherwise financially self-sufficient
Any post-secondary education completed
Continues to try to improve himself in various aspects of his life (education, employment, personal growth)
No illegal drug use, scant alcohol use
Takes physical care of self, i.e. gets enough exercise and eats properly
Takes basic hygienic and aesthetic care of his appearance

Only looking back do I realize that's the bottom of the barrel for an adult human male, and feeling like I had to express those things instead of taking them for granted was what made it clear to others that I was an easy mark that had been brought up to accept less than barrel scrapings, i.e. I was a great target for predators and abusers. I am thankful to say that when I married, it was after I'd significantly raised my standards, and it was to someone who still exceeded them and continues to.

Men are the ones that invented the concept of chivalry but get mad when we expect it from them. They do the same fucking thing when it comes to paying the bills, for dates, women working ... men have actively prevented women from entering the workforce for DECADES, they still don’t like that women work but also don’t want to spend their money on us???

Men, YOU invented this shit so you deal with it. We wouldn’t expect you to be providers if you hadn’t imposed these gender roles, forced us to have children and stay home and depend on you for financial support. They want to go 50/50 and demand that women work but will constantly shit on feminism and continue to uphold the patriarchy.

As long as men oppress women the least they can do is spend 50 quid on a date. Quit whining and stick to ur duties. After all you created them.

Yeah, those requests sound pretty standard. It usually boils down to wanting someone who can match you and shares your values. If education is important to you and you have a bachelor's/master's/PhD, it's understandable to want someone with a similar education level. Some people are happy doing the same job for a decade - if that's not you, then you're probably going to find it difficult if your partner likes that idea. One of my biggest irritations is people who hold others to higher standards than they themselves plan on reaching, so for me to date someone who did that just wouldn't work.

Reasonable standards. However, I think it is best to not give them the roadmap in how to treat you. Some do not have good intentions and will keep up an act and play a role. Though a man that does the chivalrous actions like opening a car door, esp with hounger ladies, you still have to lean back and monitor the entirity of his actions as a whole in all areas.
