So I was at this party and there was this really drunk girl and she was flirting with all the guys. Immediately all the girls were like ok everyone, leave her alone because she’s drunk so anything she does is non consensual blah blah blah. Ok np. Night ends fine, all the ladies are safe and ok :)

So if said drunk girl flirts w a guy and he takes it all the way, it’s rape. Even tho she can be participating, because she’s not sober it’s not ok. Ok gotcha, she wasn’t in the right state of mind to make a proper decision and therefore she is bein raped, don’t victim shame it’s never her fault. Ok np.

Drunk person leaves the club and makes another “ not right state of mind “ decision and decides to drive drunk and causes a major accident. They throw the book at you and you’re blamed for everything, how dare you drink and drive, wtf were you thinking.

The drunk driver needs to learn how to control their alcohol consumption and everything is the drunk drivers fault.

So we have 2 drunk people and both made drunk decision. But in 1 situation it’s everyone else’s fault and in the other it’s completely your fault.

I don’t think rape is ok. I’m a firm believer that we as humans need to be held accountable for our actions at times. If I go to a club and get super hammered and then start acting a fool and falling all over the place and I lose my wallet and then the security toss me out and I get injured, when I wake up I can blame the world for all my misfortunes that night but at the same time maybe I shouldn’t have had so much to drink especially if I can’t handle my liquor.

As a man if I go to a club and get wasted, I fall, hurt my self, lose my cellphone and then drink and drive and ruin my car after all is said and done I could never see myself blaming everyone else around me for allowing me to make all these bad decisions, “ ohhh bro. Why didn’t you help me, why didn’t you sit me down and make sure I wasn’t doing anything dumb “

Can someone make it make sense ? Thought? Am I insane? If I’m completely wrong and an idiot, tell me.
