So, here's something interesting to think about.

the above is clearly predicated on the idea that all males want sex all the time from any and all women. That idea is kept alive and current by the following mechanism: It is ~~illegal~~ ~~immoral~~ against the rules for a man to say that he does not find a woman attractive.

In nearly any circumstance, a man stating that he does not find a particular woman attractive will be interpreted to mean that he hates all women or he is gay.

Women can freely talk about their attraction to particular men and their lack of attraction to others. Women are free to say that any particular man, or any group of men, or even all men are unattractive, men are not free to make such distinctions.

Therefor all men must at times, on some level be prepared to publicly claim that they are irresistibly drawn to each and every woman in the world.

They say that as if the female student doesn't want to get with the teacher. I saw exactly that situation when I was in high school: a group of girls trying to get into one of the male teacher's pants. He ended up quitting and moving to another district. If he had sex with them, it would still have been statutory rape with him raping them.

Either way, that's what statutory rape means. We've made the determination that a student does not have the agency to consent to sex with a teacher. It doesn't matter what gender either of them are, it doesn't matter who suggested the idea of sex, it doesn't matter who said yes or no or how many times. Students cannot consent to sex with their teachers, and it's always the teacher's fault.

I guess you could make an exception for a student beating up and tying up a teacher then raping them, then it WOULD be the student's fault, but that's not really what we are discussing.

The fact that young boys would be more desperate or eager for sex, mostly due to a lack of options, lack of experience, lack of maturity and a lack of sexual worth, doesn't justify the act. Quite the opposite. If anything it demonstrates that those boys are far more vulnerable to exploitation and manipulation, which actually makes it worst.

There are certainly countless cases of statutory rape with young female students "enjoying it", because they thought they were having fun too. Many express crushing on those teachers, many probably even got off on the idea of having that power over their teacher and some probably did it just to be able to blackmail their teachers(which would technically still make them predators, despite their age).
