Some similarities I realized were how men and women talk about breast size and height, respectively. Many men say they only date big breasted women while women say they only date 6'+ men. Women post these thoughts on their Tinder's and Twitters while men rap about it and watch porn with actresses who have big tits. But when it comes down to it, how many men are seriously only dating D cup women? I'm sure there are some who are genuinely picky, but most of those men find women they are attracted to who don't have Ds and love them anyway. Those men might even still say they like Ds, but they happily go home to their A cup wife every night. Same thing for women! Yeah, women say we like 6'+. But when it comes down to it, if you're everything we want your height won't matter. We might still drool over 6+ guys like men drool over big tits, but we still love our 5'6" boyfriends.

Furthermore, there are A LOT of incredibly attractive, 5'x" celebrities. Dave Franco is 5' 7", Justin Beiber is 5'9", and Zack Efron is 5'8" to name a few. Every 8th grade girl is teased about their flat chest, but yet women like Keira Knightly are still considered gorgeous.

Before things start getting crazy, let me say I know this is not a perfect analogy. Breasts have a million other qualities to be considered "attractive boobs" or whatever, but for now lets just focus on the size vs height part. Because just like being tall doesn't automatically make you Channing Tatum, having big boobs doesn't automatically mean they are nice boobs.

Edit: In case its not clear, I'm not arguing about which one is easier to fix. I realize women can get boob jobs, but 99% don't. Men can also wear lifts and lie, no one is pulling out a ruler. But thats really outside of the analogy, I'm comparing how men saying "women won't date me because of my height" is equally as ridiculous as a woman saying "men won't date me because I'm flat chested". Both are understandable to think, given how vocal the other gender is about the opposite traits, but for whatever reason neither gender actually acts on it. Kiera Knightly and Zac Efron are still some of the hottest people, subjectively of course :)

FINAL EDIT: okay so I did change my view a little! I now believe there is a height that men bottom out at and dating becomes significantly difficult for the average joe. A lot of people have been throwing out numbers around the 5'7" area, but I think it's closer to 5'5". My 3 reasons being that there are men that are 5'5" ,like Daniel Radcliffe, who are considered attractive. I personally dated someone who was 5'6", and ultimately, the average American woman is 5'4" meaning that even at 5'5" a guy is still taller than 50% of American women.

Furthermore, less than 15% of American men are over 6'1". And obviously, some portion of those are going to be unattractive. There is even a cap on height where they would be too tall and not proportional (like Michael phelps). So ultimately, height must not be that big of a deal to women, because 85% of them are not single. The huge majority of women (literally in the 90% area) are not dating 6' guys.

Conclusion: if you are between 5'6-6' you're in the range that can be compared to cup size for women. Ultimately, both of these traits make up a small fraction of what either gender is attracted to. Although some minority of both genders are very vocal about their preference for these specific traits, it isn't universal and it isn't the end-all-be-all. If you are a man under 6' and single, don't worry! Your future girlfriend is statistically checking out some guy under 6' right now, and pretty soon she'll be checking you out too :)
