I don’t see an issue. He didn’t interact with anyone or go out of his way to show their face so it’s no different than any other public place. Dressing up to go clubbing really doesn’t mean anything so I’m not sure what the controversy is. Can you link to the video so we can have more context?

This is so so weird because I literally just saw that video on Insta and then saw this post. I do feel a bit sorry for the guy, but you have to be stupid to go around filming random women, most people view it as creepy behaviour and it isn’t surprising if someone’s boyfriend gets upset. There have also been a lot of spikings around the north west area, I’m not surprised that people are on high alert for creepy behaviour.

I think both the guy and commenters are wrong here - the guy because he is only very selectively filming women without their consent, at this point it arguably stops becoming stock footage and more deliberately filming people, add to it that he’s only filming women…. this does fall into creepy territory. The comments are just as dumb, going to the club =\= hoeing, and even if they were, it shouldn’t matter.

People have the right to film in public places.

But having to worry about being filmed all the time is something everyone could do without. It's no wonder anxiety is so high these days when any innocent misstep may be reinterpreted and thrown in your face forever. Many people don't want themselves filmed all the time regardless of what they're doing.

As for hoeing around - On the one I saw (Which wasn't Manc) it was just people enjoying themselves and acting a bit daft, nothing out of the ordinary. This has been part of British culture forever, 1600's working classes were no different when the night drew in.

I've never had a ONS or casual sex, but I went out to clubs frequently. Only time I even had to think about cameras were the city ones when the police turned up because they though t we were mugging our collapsed friend (We went through their stuff to find cloak room ticket so could get their coat and take them home).

Not telling everybody that you go to nightclubs isn't hoeing around and not telling the truth about it. I don't reveal all the details of my life to everyone because it's both unworkable and pointless.

I personally hate nightlife and anyone who enjoys it wouldn't be compatible with me as a partner, but this doesn't make them a bad person. Most people go to nightclubs and used to in the past, including my normie parents.

He's just filming on a public street, not trying to harrass people. It may be seen as slightly wierd but there isn't really anything I see wrong with it.

None of the women in the video are doing anything outlandish. They have short dresses and are a little tipsy, but that's every girl at the club in every city in the world.

I went clubbing with my friends back in my early 20s and we never hooked up with guys. We would rarely even dance with guys. We dressed cute/tight dresses, but like I said, never hooked up. The most I ever did was make out with a guy friend and that’s because we were both drunk. We didn’t even like each other that way. When you’re drunk, standards fall and make you go stupid shit. I repeat, friends and I never met or slept with anyone while clubbing.

Weird thing about me..

But its funny how he covers it up as "nightlife vlog" but we all know he uses young attractive women to get views. It is creepy in a way. Naturally vlogging through a street and people just happen to pass by is one thing but this is another.

It would be illegal to film someone without their consent and post it online where I am from. (if it‘s a crowd and you didnt zoom in on 1 person its fine)

You don't need to consent to film them. He's also not sexualizing them, because they're sexualizing themselves. He's literally just recording the way people act in public, and showing people online to profit off of it.

I can understand how women might get upset at this though considering women like to project fake innocent images of themselves to men when they are anything but. Having a video of yourself online being unholy might inhibit your ability to manipulate you future partner into believing this, but that's the reality of the modern world that we live in. Plenty of stuff gets recorded, and you just have to accept that. It'll be even worse in the future too with AI. If you don't want to be seen as a hoe, then you shouldn't be one. It's as simple as that.

I also don't think there is anything morally wrong with it either. Being dishonest about your true nature to secure a partner is what is morally wrong.
