Coming from the perspective of someone who likes to call partners "slut" in bed but wouldn't call a stranger on the street a slut/whore/etc, there is a major difference between a situation where the bottom trusts there is love and respect behind a potentially hurtful term vs. a situation where there is no trust and there might be fear of anger or violence.

Consider: if you invite several of your friends to come to your place, it’s a party, whereas if a stranger shows up in your home without warning, it’s shocking and upsetting. It’s the same action (a person coming into your home), but the contexts are very different.
