Here is something I'm curious about. I was talking to my female cousin yesterday and she said something interesting that caught my attention.

When I saw her a 3 months ago, she was with a guy and she introduced me to him as her "friend" and didn't elaborate too much on it. We'll call this guy James.

Then, when I saw her yesterday, she was with another guy and introduced me to him as her "friend." We'll call this guy Adam

When I was in private with her, I asked her what happened to James and what's the deal with Adam. She told me that she doesn't talk to James too much anymore and they were only "physically connected". She then said she likes Adam and that she feels "emotionally connected" to him.

So, this is where my question is coming from. I realize in a long term relationship and marriage, it's important for their to be an emotional and physical connection. However, by itself, which connection is more important... emotional or physical?

When examining the RP, men make it seem like physical connection is the most important. If a woman sleeps with a man right away but doesn't sleep with you right away (AF/BB situations), it is said that women aren't really attracted to you.

However, when talking to women, they seem to put emotionality on the forefront. I have heard women say that sex is no big deal (since they can get sex easily) and when they display emotionality with a man and give that man her full self emotionally, that's a bigger deal than sex and being physically connected.
