I heard there was some commotion going on in this sub based on my post from yesterday. Couple of things I want to clear up about that.

First, here is a picture of myself and my wife from the last 4th of July so we can clear up any confusion about my status as a fat neckbeard or anything of the sort.

Second, let's chat about the internet, what it is, and how reliable the information on it is. I think you guys know by now that anyone can say anything and become a legend for better or for worse, or go completely unnoticed. Generally, I assume that anything I say is going to go completely unnoticed, and thus I tend to exaggerate things here and there, because fuck it. Who cares. None of you know me, I don't know any of you. I get some useless internet points for making a comment, maybe some useless internet points that cost someone a few bucks, at the end of the day, the interaction ends, and we get on with our lives.

Yesterday I made a comment, it happened to blow up a bit, people were divided over the issue, and some people said "good for you" while others claimed I was some cuckold who had married an unfaithful slut who probably tricked me into thinking that the baby she was carrying was mine when in fact it wasn't. But that is 0% the case.

Thing is, my wife has banged exactly one guy that she worked with, who is a married surgeon. He promised he could get her into med school, let her scrub in on some wild surgeries while she was a nursing student, etc. It turned into a physically abusive relationship, she stopped seeing him, and a year later we got together. She told me about it, I wasn't exactly happy to hear it, but whatever. She made a mistake. People tend to do that. Sometimes she runs into him at work, but she tells me about it because she still feels pretty ashamed of what she did. I don't like that she runs into him on occasion, but what can I do? It happens maybe once per month, there's no reason to get really worked up about it.

The "winner" comment was a lot more sarcastic than I think people tend to realize. I'm 24 years old. We had been dating for a few months, but we didn't exactly have any immediate plans for marriage. I didn't intend to have a kid, and neither did she. But it's not like we were in a bad position for settling down and raising a baby. Maybe it all happened a little sooner than expected, but whatever. We're not the first people to find ourselves in such a situation.

Anyway, the discussion that spun off of my comment was surprising, to say the least. Slut shaming, virgin shaming, cuckoldery... A bunch of stuff that was never meant to come up came up. It was meant to be harmless, but clearly things spiraled out of control a bit, even spilling onto other subreddits and web forums.

Normally I wouldn't give it any mind, but you know. This is my wife we're talking about. I guess it's my fault for bringing her into this, but the fact that the internet now seems convinced that I'm some idiotic cuckold with an illegitimate child and a slut for a wife is a little much.

Reading this has put me further into a predicament I stumbled into the other night.
