Give the dude some advice instead of telling him how lucky he is.

My advice is simple, keep your chin up and get back out there. I'm sure there are more attractive women out there that share your values. Also don't be a pushover and don't over accommodate a woman. Set some boundaries about things you don't like or people you don't her to be around. If she doesn't like it don't be afraid to leave.

The best you can do is making a reasonable effort to looking your best. Work out regularly, get decently fit at least if you aren't already. Wear good clothes and cologne depending on the occasion, get a nice haircut. If you do all this, you're better than probably 90% of men and have done all that can be expected of you.

Everything above that you have no control over, to some extent your looks are what they are. I'm sure you're not as bad looking as you think you are, but you have to accept what you can't change. Most people aren't a Brad Pitt and that's ok. But if you do what you can, at least you can't blame yourself anymore.

Additionally really look into whether those relationships actually failed because of that. I very much doubt it. You're saying on the one hand those women chose you because you got so much going for you and on the other they left you for a guy because he's better looking. So which is it?

As a woman, I can tell you that if I cheated after 6 years it would have absolutely nothing to do with appearance. None of my female friends are always on the look out for more attractive men when they’re in LTRs either. It’s pretty common to feel ugly/unattractive after being cheated on. I suspect you might have stopped at “hot” when you entered into your two previous relationships because you thought you were already getting more than you deserved based upon that criteria being met.

Next time, think to yourself “okay, you’re hot. What else do you have to offer?” and base your willingness to get into a relationship based upon those criteria. I think you’ll find a better match than either of your previous relationships.

If someone’s dated you for six years and then cheats on you, it’s not because of looks. When you love every bit of someone’s personality, they just get hotter and hotter. I would look there and see what’s different from the beginning of the relationship vs the end. It is NOT your fault you got cheated on, but if you don’t know why relationships are ending that might be a good spot to look. Most people truly think they can have a forever-relationship by doing whatever the fuck they want, and I don’t know how to make that relationship last so you get. O advice there from me.

My advice to you is, if you just want to fuck (which is what most men who say they want “relationships” want anyway - reliable access to ass) then leverage your money shamelessly. Realize attraction is shallow, so when people say “she just wants you for your money” understand you just want her for her looks, and she just wanted her last guy for his looks, or money, or title, or all three etc, and that the person judging you ended up with the person they’re clearly unsatisfied with because they don’t have looks, money, or status and have to deal with the wildebeest of a partner they have because it’s the best they can do.

So it sounds like the physical attractiveness is not the actual problem, women won’t stay with you that long if they just want a better looking man. Their looks may have helped the women make their cheating decision, but it likely wasn’t the reason for their cheating. The real questions are did the relationship get boring, were you taking them new places and making experiences consistently, deepening your love and connection via sex consistently, etc. In relationships the moment you get comfortable and stop trying to put in as much effort as in the beginning is when things can start slipping. You are right, you might not be attractive, but not in the way you think. Attractiveness to women means more than looks. It’s how you treat them every day. Women don’t want to feel needed, they want to feel special. They want to be heard and validated.

Many relationships fall apart when they enter into “default” mode for a long time. When you don’t spend any quality interactive time together (date), do the same activities over and over again, don’t have your own time (i.e. always doing activities together), etc.

And one of the commenters is right. Partners think about cheating for a long time before they break it to you (or you find out). They do this because they hope for something better after you.

I have been told I'm very attractive and I have a very athletic build and I can definitely tell ya that looks don't make the difference. When you get into long term relationships, often what can happen is that the idea of being yourself takes a back seat to the idea of the two of you. You make consolations for each other’s effort cuz life is busy and stressful and eventually all the things that attracted you two to each other fade away. Responsibilities and “being practical” are the priority.

Sounds similar to my situation, I had 2 LTR cheat on me, and the dudes they cheated on me with were arguably more physically attractive than I was.

I think both women already decided after 3+ years it was over and they were open to hooking up with a new dude aka monkey branching.

I think they lost attraction because I wasn't being masculine and maintaining attraction in the relationship. They weren't great partners so it's good that it ended though, I should have closed the books years sooner instead.

When women just want sex they can almost always find a more attractive dude than you, women usually date down for commitment like how men date down for sex. I doubt the women you dated left because you weren't physically attractive enough, but they may have left because you weren't masculine enough.

The takeaway is that you should maintain your masculinity even in a relationship to keep the women you're dating attracted. If you become too feminent, have weak boundaries, get lazy, stop taking them on dates, etc. Eventually they will lose attraction, and if they're a low value women, they'll cheat on you on top of it.

You know there's always people who look better than us but I've always been told I'm handsome and my face is very masculine ( I have a chiseled jaw and strong eye brow ridge) and just how I carry myself was beyond attractive, almost Chad like minus my height. Have you tried becoming more attractive? I did it, dm and I send a before and after lol.

It helps, and it’s fun to have women swoon, but ultimately good women aren’t super shallow. The type of women who are interested in me because I look great are not necessarily the ones I connect with emotionally.

I just recommend trying it. You’ll see it’s not all it’s cracked up to be.

Though in some ways it totally is.

Strangers are super nice to me now. That’s kinda fun.
