After looking around a bit, it appears like 99% of the top posts here are incredibly generic and self-helpish (ie. "Confidence is EVERYTHING", "Have an abundance mentality, bro!", "It's a numbers game"). Shit you could google and find results for in seconds. I haven't seen anything niching down in pickup, such as running day game at a college campus as a non-student or how to escalate during an instadate.

Given that a vast majority of top posts here cover the fundamentals of game, it made me realize: How many of you guys actually practice game in a practical, dedicated sense?

The shit I see here makes you feel good about yourself. It's incredibly transient and doesn't assist you in the long run.

Do you know what does? Actually taking action.

How?

  1. Set a schedule for yourself: Game is a skill. If you wanted to get jacked, could you attain that body going out once or twice a week? Fuck no. I go out and game religiously Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. At least 4 sets per day. No excuses. I drive a fucking hour and a half to Chicago on Saturday just to do day street game for hours at a time.
  2. Reflect: Mindlessly repeating the same mistakes over and over again is bound to happen. However, you could potentially fix that by writing detailed field reports, recording your sets, and letting veteran PUAs analyze it. Yes, you'll stick fuck up relatively often, but you decrease your prior mistakes over time.
  3. Count your wins: During my time learning pickup, I accumulated 4 notches, 9 makeouts via day and night game. I'm currently getting instadates at least once a week, but having issues escalating. I still persist though because I look back at how far I've come since I first started and realize, it's only a matter of time. I can fuckin' taste victory... and you can too if you put in the hard work.
