I (38m) escaped an abusive relationship for my child and myself only to have the courts give her 90% of the custody and rights. Then the courts have me paying $1000+ in support due to they're error and aren't changing it. Was told by the courts I need to get a lawyer. So yea, men are consistently screwed in this system and we have to do something about it.

Statistically the number is actually higher regarding the suicide rate in Australia where this originated from. There’s a lot of debate claiming this is false because there isn’t enough data regarding the issue. Meanwhile these same people pander infinitely to any picture of a woman with something else scribbled on it as if it were the word of God. A few have stated they’d call women out too but, anyone with a brain knows that’s a load of diarrhea the size of Niagara Falls. Peruse any posts anywhere with something similar about women and you’ll find these people either praising the claims, refusing to back them with stats, or just nowhere to be found. That or they’ll post half-assed blogs, articles and data as vague as they claim this data presented in the photo is being.

Meanwhile, as we speak, the feminists are all over the picture doing everything they can to make it about women’s issues. Turning phrases backwards, attacking people and stats as well as stating this is the very thing they’re fighting against. Once called out on their lies you’re suddenly the bad guy, hate women and are fake news. The typical world we reside in gentlemen.

I really don't understand why on earth is this allowed . A kid needs both mom and dad . There are some exceptions to the rule. Why do men always have to get burnt. From the get go, we are rejected by women and finally when one gets a woman they use us to be just providers . While they play the victim . Do women not understand how difficult it is to provide in this economic situation. Then they will bitch about how they are unsatisfied and will shame us for not earning more. Currently in the middle of a nasty battle with my boyfriend vs. His ex wife. She had him arrested this weekend because of a bruise she found a week prior to making the call to the cops, and now his daughter has been taken away for a month. He is devastated and so am I. I think women get away with far too much in the system and no one ever tends to stop and think that, gee, maybe that man loves his child JUST as much as his wife/partner. Just maybe. Ugh

So i fact checked this and it's kinda unprovable, poorly sourced.

That being said, I fought my own suicide for about 2 years as I went through a pretty fucked up divorce and then subsequent custody battles. I'll say this, in court, women are gods. Welding an unquestioned power over lowly men. I was accused of every horrendous thing a father could be accused of besides murder. All of the accusations were to be proven wrong at my expense which literally cost me everything I had after the divorce.

The story is very long and I'll spare you but in the end I prevailed. By that I mean I am allowed to see my children for 4 consecutive days unsupervised each month and I pay 800 a month in CS plus all medical.

Still glad I didn't kill myself tho.

I've been waiting a long while for this topic. I'm one who came very close. My ex was a master manipulator and used Parental Alienation against me to the point where she has my own two brothers believing her made-up stories over my reality. She's taken everything away from me that I loved. I honestly believe I'd be dead by now, if it weren't for my new wife (unbelievably devoted gf of 5+ years) and heavy counseling.

As someone who was a child of divorce and I (now 20f) ended up living my mom, I definitely wished I was with my dad. My mom is a narcissist and terribly abusive emotionally, mentally, and physically. She would lie to my dad saying I didn't want to see him on his weekend, then she would tell me that he didn't want to see me. She told me plenty lies of my dad never wanting me and whatnot. My mother definitely shouldn't of had custody of me. I would've been so much better off, and now I'm rebuilding my relationship with my father and he's like the best person I know. I wish courts and judges and people in general would look beyond the fact that a kid "needs a mom" or that the father "MUST" be the reason why divorce/a custody battle is going on. I have met some pretty manipulative and abusive males in my life but that amount can't compare to the amount of manipulative and abusive and dare I say, crazy(?), women that I have met. Whether that statistic is true or not, it doesn't make ot right.

So best as we can tell this statistic is not supported by the data. The data needed to confirm it apparently isn't available. Also suicide is a massively complex issue. We can't just share things we can't substantiate. We need to have a higher standard.

Everyone who complains what the feminist movement does needs to do more than simply bitch. If you don't like the world you see, start doing something more than bashing women on the internet. Organize, speak out and start creating change. You don't build yourself up by tearing others down. Men have issues, unique ones. We need to be the change and demand better of support services and of ourselves.

We won't save lives and live happy by hating on others.

Some of the best help you can get is a group at your church. And it's free, we are all strapped. I'm actually looking (reluctantly) into that right now.
