As of right now in the west, nothing. If things keep going the same way they are now the top men will just get a bigger pool of women to pump and dump that's all. Men dropping out of the dating pool will not negatively affect women it will actually help women to be honest which is why I do not understand why women are so against MGTOW or inceldom lol. Women mostly spend the majority of dating weeding out men they don't like and trying to get the guys they actually genuinely like which is very small. Women have come to terms that if they can't get the guy they actually want to marry they will just stay single, so society moving forward is basically just the same but worse for the average man.

Im not worried about though, if what I found out goes mainstream I think it will balance out the SMP and give men actual leverage for once.

I think when it comes down to it, women would rather share an Alpha than have a weak Beta as their own. Since women all go for the top minority of guys (80% of the women go for top 20% of the guys) I don’t think it’s a stretch to picture a Polygamous society. Gradually over time of course. This would lead to an eventual destruction of society itself, since 80% of the men have been faded out of the SMP, are frustrated by not being able to advance their genetic seed, and lead to an absolute societal teardown. Since a large group of angry, testosterone filled men is a great symptom for inevitable violence.

The bottom third of men give up on dating and give up on working hard (why work hard when your hobbies are hanging around your 1 bedroom apartment, jerking it to porn, playing video games and watching anime). This means these guys go from undatable in their early 20s to undatable for life.

middle third of men get married and have lives comparable to today.

top third of men refuse to settle down until they're in their late 30s and then only with girls in their 20s.

businesses suffer as bottom third are refusing to make an effort outside of working hard enough to not get fired. They refuse to do over time, don't want training, don't suck up to the boss, don't want a promotion just wants comfy position ideally working from home him in his sailor moon PJs.

Well there's a number of places that it can go, the porn addictions can skyrocket (specifically onlyfans types) maybe the market for those sex dolls just keeps getting better and better, depending on the levels of depression they might do some of that harm to themselves it can get ugly, and I think a lot of that depression comes from people kind of over shooting their league in terms of the kind of person that they can actually get lol.

It's a response to globalisation and automation as well. In American society your job is your value (for some reason). If you're redundant in the workforce due to offshoring, machines replacing you, being too dumb, not having sufficient/correct social abilities for service jobs... you're fucked. While I am quite certain that the marriage rates will plummet even far worse, I don't see the above as being the most relevant cause. Instead, the major cause imho is simply that marriage has turned into a legal and financial risk minefield and shitty deal for men. And I'm not talking about the situation of "undesirable men" (can't speak for those) nor about players and red-pillers with a loose sociosexual orientation who see women as "awalt" and "plates" and don't care for LTR anyways (can't speak for those either) but about mariage per se, including and especially for those men who would, if marriage hadn't been turned into such a shitfest, constitute prime "marriage material" i.e. desirable (including physically, intellectually, socially, status-wise, financially well off etc.) and with a restricted sociosexual orientation i.e. inherently inclined towards a life-long relationship.

And since lots of women here seem to say that marriage nowadays is a shitty deal for women too (for various very diverging reasons depending on different personal and/or groupthink views)… well then, if it's a shitty deal for most everyone, it looks quite doomed as a model. That is, not in the sense of the romantic model of a relationship aiming for a "together happily ever after" (that will always remain relevant and possible, on the couple's own terms, without being built on a rotten foundation), but as the state-normalized legal framework such as its implementation has turned. Unfortunately, nowadays, the latter is far more detrimental than favorable to the former.

Yes, of course… at least those who would (at least otherwise and in principle) have been inclined towards a romantic "together happily ever after" ideal… or towards marriage (for whatever reasons). I see two ways it can turn out.

Either open cuckoldry where average and bottom tier men are "forced" to date cam girls, Onlyhoes,instahookers and other kinds of sluts because they are the majority of the dating market and the only chicks they can get.

Or marriage and relationships will completely die down because men have become disillusioned with women and as result women will start catering again to what men find attractive for relationships.Then rinse and repeat and the cycle continues again.

Undesirable men still have some ambitions or at least want to live a comfortable life and engage in their own hobbies. That aside this is a very small portion of men.

Marriage rates have been trending down regardless. In my opinion a plurality of both men and women are incapable of maintaining a marriage in a society where you don't need marriage to survive. Most people can't handle lifelong monogamy.

As long as women can earn their own way I don't think this negatively impacts them, being married to awful people has it's own cost.

There doesn't need to be a next phase. This has already been lived by a certain demographic whose music, language, style, behaviors get mimicked here and by internet culture. Just look what happened there. So far yall have been behind on this for a few decades which is why some of you struggle while these people are used to it. I can't say specifically who because it breaks sub rules but its not that hard to figure out.

Fewer people are entering relationships because it's just not as needed as it was in the past. Why is this a bad thing? Not everyone needs to produce and the economy can't just grow infinitely. Society could do with fewer people. It'll hurt in the short-term, but be better in the long-term.
